25.01.2022 Working on a jigsaw puzzle - Lightwood (acacia implexa) or hickory wattle is a glorious timber full of faults & hollows making it near impossible to mill large pieces. Solution Mill boards instead, then painstakingly piece together a dining table. Fiddly & time consuming, but will be WELL worth the hassle for a true one-of-a-kind centrepiece. Even before sanding & oiling, this timber is showing glorious grain, colour palette & features stay tuned!

Our Client’s outdoor dining table top was disintegrating, but the legs were still good, so rather than buy a whole new table, we were able to craft a new table top. This glorious natural attrition red gum, fell on the property next door to us knowing the source equals peace of mind. A dazzling colour palette, florid figuring and natural edge detail was finished with marine varnish to withstand the elements.
