22.01.2022 The Smalls Schools cross country carnival on Wednesday this week, has been cancelled as a result of poor track condition after the rain. A new date is yet to be confirmed, we will let you know the rescheduled date as soon as possible.

22.01.2022 Our students will be participating in our Athletics Carnival on Monday 2 November. Students are required to wear their sports uniform and house colours (Emu Green and Kangaroo Yellow) and bring their hat and water bottle. Unfortunately, parents and carers are not permitted on site for this exciting event. Please keep an eye on our newsletter for photos.

21.01.2022 All of our students had an exciting day with Bobby and Joel from Djiriba Waagura. Learning about our local culture, waterfall, bush tucker and the opportunity to participate in a smoking ceremony.

19.01.2022 Our Book Character Parade will be held on Friday 23 October. It is a real shame that parents and carers are not permitted on site for this exciting event. Keep an eye on our newsletter for photos. Please ensure your child comes to school with a dress up of their favourite book character as well as a copy of the book their character is from. Students will also be participating in a gymnastics lesson on the same day, so they will need suitable clothing. They can change at school if necessary.

16.01.2022 Our students and staff had an enjoyable day learning different traditional dances with Joel and Bobby from Djiriba Waagura

15.01.2022 Today our students had an exciting final visit with Aunty Lauren, Bobby and Joel. Learning to cook damper at the waterfalls and exploring ochre painting. Thank you Djiriba Waagura for the wonderful visits this year!

13.01.2022 Presentation Day 2020 We will be holding our K-6 Presentation assembly Tuesday 8 December at 9am under the COLA. The invited family member that is attending will need to sign in near the flag pole. We’re very keen that all attendees are well and free of any flu like symptoms.... We’re looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.

11.01.2022 The Life Education van will be visiting our school on Monday 23 November. Please complete and return permission slips to the office before Wednesday 18 November.

10.01.2022 Dear families, This year we will make hats for our Easter Hat Parade at school as a buddy activity with both classes. If you would like to donate materials (cotton balls, glitter, cardboard cutouts etc) please have them at school by Wednesday 24 March however there is no expectation to bring in resources. Students can also wear a "crazy" hair style to school for the parade on Thursday 1 April.
