23.01.2022 Saturday 26th, the xc groomer has groomed some inner trails today, should be great skiing, hopefully will do so again tomorrow. Fantastic that locals can get a last shot at a ski in this weirdest of winters.

22.01.2022 It’s official everyone! FCRM will be grooming the XC network of trails for the season! A big thank you to the FCRM team for continuing to provide the beautiful trails we have enjoyed this week! We will be staying open as planned.... We hope to see you all up here soon for a ski!

20.01.2022 A quick update from Falls Creek XC. We are currently setting up at Windy Corner, implementing our Covid requirements and generally gearing up for the season. However snow or lack of is becoming another challenge for us, but we will be ready to go as soon as the white stuff flies. Stayed tuned for updates See you on the snow, cheers FCXC

19.01.2022 Hello everyone! We are just finishing preparation for season 2020! Good news! We will be open for coffee and cake tomorrow! ... We are still deciding when to open for hire and ski school as the snow conditions are best suited for experienced skiers with a few bumps on the trails. We are hoping some grooming will happen soon. 12.01.2022 Get excited! We are open for hire, lessons and the cafe is serving coffee and cookies today! Fresh grooming overnight including start of Sun Valley and the start of the Paralyser!... See you soon!

10.01.2022 The groomer is out and about this afternoon / evening. Late Sept sun took it's toll today but it is hanging in there, best get up here Monday morning for some fast snow before it's all gone again. Thanks to FCRM for making the grooming happen, the off piste is diabolical.

08.01.2022 After months of on again off again it seems as though the question of an xc ski season in 2020 has finally been settled,. The Alpine National Park is to close and Falls Creek is open to residents only, there will be no grooming for cross country skiing. Maybe late September will deliver some great spring skiing and the government will let us enjoy it. Thanks to everyone who supported us in our very short season, we hope to see you next year. 06.01.2022 Hello everyone. While lift operations are closing for a few weeks, at this stage grooming will continue through the weekend until a decision can be made regarding the long term. We are looking forward to the snow this weekend and we are positive about the next few weeks! ... This is a great chance to try XC! Cheers! Windy Corner Team
