15.01.2022 Looking like a fun day out!

14.01.2022 For those still keen on Saturdays group ride down Fainter's here's a preview of the day out. Today I rode from Hoot up Jump Start along the aqua duct then up Eagle Rock out to Pretty Valley, (for those unsure if they can go the distance the ride can begin from here cutting out almost 200m of climbing and 30mins to an hr) All pretty straight forward. Then the slow rocky climb and rocky descent to Tawonga huts. Then next section is a mix of single trail, creek crossings and hi...ke a bike sections (some amazing views to distract you while you push your bike) untill the summit of Fainters. Now the fun begins!! Some good fun descending through loose rocky fire roads. One last pinch climb won't lie I pushed a fair amount of this. Then the option is to continue along the fire road or as I did today drop in on the infamous Big hill DH through to big hill mtb park where the trails are endless! I never pushed flat out but did not stop for long managed the ride on under 4hrs I would imagine as a group this would be around 5. Plan to meet for coffee at blue dirt cafe at 8.30 riding by 9 so we can be having a cold beer in Beauty around 2-3 pm Hope to see you all there

09.01.2022 Now the mtb season is well and truely on a roll in Falls after an epic Ignition weekend and a stack of events on the cards maybe it’s time to get together and d...iscuss the direction/future of the club. The club has a bit of money in its kitty and it’s great to see all level of group rides happening on a regular basis so where to from here? Any thoughts on a time and place?
