07.01.2022 Talofa Lava family! I trust that everyone is well and safe during this time of mourning and trial. This page is created just to help guide us all through the plans that are set out for our beloved Ana to have a beautiful send off.... I will keep updating this page as time approaches. As everyone is aware, there are alot of strict rules we must abide by because of the current coronavirus pandemic. We humbly ask for your complete understanding and patience to please respect the current plans: - Aunty Ana will be brought home for 3 days. ON THE FIRST DAY: -The first half of the day is for Aunty's neices and nephews - the second half of the day is for all of Aunty's siblings. You are also welcome to spend the night with your sister. (I will update specific times soon) THE SECOND DAY: - The second day is reserved ONLY for the Pereira family to spend their last night with Aunty. THE THIRD DAY: There is a maximum of 20 people that are allowed at indoor gatherings and 30 people at outdoor gatherings. If there are more than 20 people in the Church for Aunty's service, the Church will be fined $100,000.00 for breaking government rules. The heartbreaking reality is that alot of us will have to miss out on attending Aunty's service and although we know how much everyone would love to be there, unfortunately we MUST abide by these rules to keep everyone protected. - Maxcine is working really hard to try and get an exemption from the government to have 15 more people attend the service as the Pereira family already exceeds the 20 people limit. So for now, until Maxcine gets a word from the government, the service will be reserved for the Pereira family only and Aunty Ana's precious grandchildren. We apologise for any inconvenience, however please understand that it is a hard decision for the Pereira family as 1 person from their family will still have to miss out as their number exceeds 20 people. 03.01.2022 Hi family! I hope everyone is well, PLEASE READ the update so everyone is on the same page and we have a smooth send off for our precious Ana! NUMBERS TO ATTEND THE SERVICE:... Maxcine was able to get an exemption for 26 more people, so these are reserved for Aunty's siblings from sydney and a couple of the oldest siblings from each family and the helpers that will be needed at the service. ALSO: Aunty comes home tomorrow (Sunday) at 11:30am so please remember that tomorrow morning is reserved for aunty's neices and nephews from 1pm - 5pm. Afterwards, aunty's siblings are able to mourn from 5pm. Her siblings ONLY are also welcome to stay the night with their sister however PLEASE remember that Monday is reserved ONLY for the pereira family to spend their last night with our precious Aunty Ana. DRINKING: We also humbly ask and remind our families that there is to be NO DRINKING while Aunty is home fa'amolemole lava! Not until Aunty is finally laid to rest on Tuesday. Siose and lyric are here from overseas and they are on strict quarantine conditions so please keep in mind that gathering numbers are still strict and that the police have been doing regular checks on them. PARKING: Please park at the botany park and walk over to Maxcines and Toga's house in consideration of the neighbours and to reduce cars blocking the roads that may attract any unnecessary police calls!
