23.01.2022 Get to know our dental staff! Dr. Trang Truong is one of our lovely dentists. After working in Melbourne for five years, she has returned home to sunny Brisbane and has been part of our wonderful team for the past two years. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006. She also grew up in West End, having attended West End State School and Brisbane State High. Outside of work, Trang enjoys travelling, keeping active and has also been involved in dental volunteer... projects in Brisbane, Vietnam and Cambodia. Trang enjoys all areas of dentistry and our patients have appreciated her gentle and caring nature.

21.01.2022 It is nearly fright night!! The one time of the year it is acceptable to eat more than your fair share of sweets. However, dont forget to be even more vigilant when it comes to flossing and brushing with all that extra sugar. Tip: after eating, rinse your mouth with water to help wash off the sugar sitting on your teeth. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

17.01.2022 Did you know that a leading factor in tooth sensitivity is receding gums? Brushing to hard can cause the gums to recede exposing small nerve endings that cause sensitivity. Unfortunately the gum will never grow back but you can prevent it from getting worse. Switch to a soft toothbrush and use a gentle circular movement (half on the gums and half on the tooth) when brushing. If these areas are causing you pain, there are things we can do to help like placing small white fillings over the top to seal the exposed nerve endings. She knows the practice inside and out and is always ready to go that extra mile for our patients. Outside of work, Torrie is an avid reader of books such as Lord of the Rings and is a big fan of television series such as Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. Also during her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and catching up for dinner with her friends.
