23.01.2022 At Family Eyecare, we are mindful of the concerns of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the community. We would like to assure our patients and the public that we have taken precautions at the practice to minimize the spread of the virus. At the same time, we are also mindful of the importance of accessible eye care, especially in terms of ocular health so will remain open as usual at this time. We have taken the following steps to decrease the risk of any cross contamination:- Maxi...mise hygiene, including the usual disinfection of all equipment for each patient seen. This also includes wiping down of high traffic areas such as door handles and light switches, as well as disinfection of all frames. We are all well at the moment, but if anyone on staff becomes unwell, we will ensure the proper protocols are followed so as not to put any patients or other staff at risk. We ask if patients are feeling unwell that they reschedule their appointments to a later date. Minimize patient to patient contact in the waiting room. Thank you for supporting our business and we look forward to continuing to provide eye care for our local community.
