15.01.2022 At the beginning of December, we teamed up with the awesome crew at First National Real Estate Collective with a goal of putting together 50 Christmas hampers to be given to victims of domestic and family violence in our community. At final count this afternoon, we had put together 90 hampers, along with 50 other vouchers which allow these women to take a moment of self care! This afternoon, we caught up with Tanya Whitehouse from the MacArthur Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, to handover half of the hampers (that’s all that would fit in her car ). To hear Tanya talk about the difference these hampers will make to these families at Christmas was moving. To all of the businesses, friends, family and team members that donated and made this possible - from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!

08.01.2022 So what is an affirmation? They are positive phrases or statements used to challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts. Practising positive affirmations can be extremely simple, and all you need to do is pick a phrase and repeat it to yourself. One easy way to get in the daily habit of using affirmations is to come up with five aspirational sentences about yourself beginning with the words, "I am." For example, "I am living my best life," "I am loved," or "I am healthy." Then, repeat those statements aloud first thing in the morning and again before you go to sleep at night. This will boost your self-esteem and program your subconscious to think more positive thoughts.
