24.01.2022 Have you claimed the family energy rebate? If not, you could be missing out. You have until 20 June to claim. The Family Energy Rebate gives eligible energy account holders a credit on an energy bill of up to $180.

23.01.2022 Take a listen to Zoe Durand's (Mediation Answers) insightful interview with clinical psychologist and family report writer Vincent Papaleo. Vincent and Zoe discuss the effects of family law proceedings on children. Some key takeaways from the podcast, if you are going through separation involving children: 1 Children do not want to hear your story of what went wrong in the relationship and who is to blame. 2 Children do not want to carry messages between their parents.... 3 Children do not want to hear their parents speaking badly about each other. A little girl told Vincent "My mum and dad don't understand. Because I am half my mum and half my dad and I love them both the same, when they fight it feels like the two halves of who I am are in conflict and I cannot feel whole." 20.01.2022 This is not my meme but a good one to share. When involved in Family Law matters you really need to be careful what you text, email and post to social media. It may be read by a judge one day. Horrible language and nasty posts about your ex etc do not look good. By all means screenshot these type of things if you receive or see your ex posting, to support your case. However, do not send or post them yourself.

07.01.2022 Dr Menaglio has been banned by the State Administrative Tribunal from acting as a single expert witness in family law matters for at least a year and fined $20,000.
