25.01.2022 Great news for WA! We are on the mend. This means, all current online zoom sessions will now resume as to face to face classes, following the WA State Government guidelines. Strict hygiene measures and social distancing are still in place meaning you need to bring your own mat, towel and keep sanitising as we go. Classes cost $15 and can be paid on the day. Classes must be booked in advance to keep controlled numbers. Classes run for 45 mins. Join us for Circuit Training @ ...5.30pm Tuesday OR Matwork Pilates @ 6pm Thursday I am also still offering 1:1 and now welcoming back 1:2 PT sessions in my outdoor home studio. 24.01.2022 8 WEEKS UNTIL SUMMER TODAY! I don't know about you guys, but for me, this crazy year has just flown by. Now i'm not one to promote a 'summer body' because we all have summer bodies! But as we approach the ever busy festive / social season and more events pop up, it becomes easy to not make our health & fitness goals a priority...sound familiar (guilty!) One way to ensure you keep accountable is to have someone keep you accountable (oh hey!), thats where a personal trainer co...mes in! The amount of times I hear people say they've joined a gym but never go, but when you have a booked appointment you stick to it (right?!) 24.01.2022 Hi All, just touching base and letting you know a few upcoming changes. For now - One on one PT & Small group sessions are still running, no more than 6 people and it is outside so we have the space to keep you separate. Of course this means, we are keeping distance, no double handling of equipment without sanitation and all sessions & classes must be pre-booked, so I can plan ahead. (Please BYO Mats & towels) Going forward from today - NO CASH. I have the contactless pay sys...tem ready to go if you aren't on direct debit and pay on the day, so please bring your card / phone so you can tap & go. There is a small surcharge for this. Future plans - well, given the ever evolving situation, it could only be a matter of time before personal training becomes a little less personal. However, I have set up video conferencing for people who still want to get some exercise in from home going forward. 24.01.2022 How is everyone going with isolation? Are you staying active? Positive? Or not? I just want you to know its ok if you dont feel like working out, if youre struggling with motivation, eating and drinking things that usually would be more of a treat - its OK Everyone copes with stress differently and often we dont recognise we are stressed until we recognise the behaviours we are adopting. Life is different and challenging right now, so rather than punish yourself fo...r not doing the things you set out to do, just be happy if you can make time to do one thing that makes you feel good every day. Maybe thats going for a walk, doing a 10 min stretch session, taking some big deep breaths and focusing on what is good, maybe its doing a home workout, maybe its accepting that right now whatever makes you feel good is whats ok. Dont be too hard on yourself and know that this isnt forever and were all in this together (high school musical song always pops in my head when I hear that ) Stay safe, stay healthy Jess
