25.01.2022 We have made the decision NOT to open for shed sales in place of market day tomorrow. We apologise to our beautiful market customers, but we are just too busy with harvest at the moment and we do not want to put our workers or customers at risk with traffic constantly coming in and out of the orchard. Therefore we will also not be attending the Warragul Farmers market this month either. * Please be aware we are still open for shed sales as normal on Tuesdays. Thankyou to all our loyal customers. Keep crunching!

24.01.2022 Happy Valentine’s Day! Please note we WILL be open as usual on Tuesday selling New Seasons Gala apples, Granny Smith and Pink Lady. However please ensure you are wearing a mask, use hand sanitiser and social distance. Hours will be approx 8.15 am to 3pm. Please watch out for tractors and machinery as we start harvest this week. Come out for a drive since you can’t do much else! Keep crunching.

23.01.2022 To celebrate International Take Your Dog to Work Day , we thought we'd give a shout out to Brad and Peppa . They live in Gippsland, Victoria, and are pro...ud growers of JAZZ and yello apples. While Brad may do all the heavy lifting, Peppa loves to run with the tractors when the family inspects the apple trees each morning. Do you take your dog to work? Give them a shout out too . #Montague #OurGrowers #FurFriends See more

23.01.2022 Still going! Thanks to our great team of pickers staying around to get as many Pink Lady’s off before the rain comes.

04.01.2022 Harvest is just starting at the farm. First to pick is Smitten. Grown for Montague Orchards and available exclusively at Coles. Look out for them at your local store.

03.01.2022 They ran to the groceries, they filled up their carts, They emptied the Price Chopper, Tops and Walmart, They panicked and fought and then panicked some more, ...Then they rushed to their homes and they locked all the doors. The food will be gone! The milk eggs and cheese! The yogurt! The apples! The green beans and peas! The stores have run out, now what will we do? There’ll be starving and looting and nothing to do! Then they paused, and they listened a moment or two. And they did hear a sound, rising over the fear, It started out far, then began to grow near. But this sound wasn’t sad, nor was it new, The farms were still doing what farms always do. The food was still coming, though they’d emptied the shelves, The farms kept it coming, though they struggled themselves, Though the cities had forgotten from where their food came, The farms made them food every day, just the same. Through weather and critics and markets that fall, The farms kept on farming in spite of it all. They farmed without thank yous. They farmed without praise. They farmed on the hottest and coldest of days. They’d bought all the food, yet the next day came more, And the people thought of something they hadn’t before. Maybe food, they thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe farmers, perhaps, mean a little bit more. *Updated to answer some messages I’ve gotten: yes, I wrote it. No, I don’t care if you credit me when you share it. That’s all- farm on, Anna Richards

02.01.2022 Brad and Brad B were busy putting up netting today. Beautiful day for it!
