23.01.2022 I love these plants.

22.01.2022 i have dropped off three paintings for the Northam Art Prize, I believe they have over 70 entries which is great. There is truly some amazing talent around this area, must be all of the fresh air. Big opening tomorrow night. What to wear now. that is the question.

20.01.2022 I have finally finished my painting for the Northam Art Prize, the oils took so long to dry. it has gone to the framer (lovely one of course) along with two others to submit. Hope to see a good crowd there, though I believe it is the same weekend as the International Balloon championship when northam is full of hot air balloons and people. Always a good weekend.

18.01.2022 Looking forward to the annual Baldivis Get together in a short time soon. I try to get as much sewing or scrapbooking done as one possibly can in two days. Always good to catch up with the other ladies and the food is always good. Need to make basics, like new dining room chair covers, a new pair of slacks, and another baby quilt. Doesn't leave much room for anything majorly artistic, but looking at what the other girls make, is always a boost, they are such a talented bunch. Bring it on.

13.01.2022 I had a great morning with my art therapy students this morning, all of them trying to kick their addictions, we had some great discussions, such a mixed bunch and all with different stories to tell. I spent time with the youngest one this morning, only 20, a wee babe, caught up in heavy stuff, but it's good to see the older ones do protect him as well as they can. Drugs are so easy to get into, and so hard to keep off.

08.01.2022 This morning, I started on a zen doodling piece, depicting my son Andrew's giant pumpkin which he grew at his property in Victoria. Out of that came a little village and many odd little houses. I will try to get a photo of it, I was wanting to get my students at my art therapy class tomorrow to do something similar, would love to see where their imagination takes them.

06.01.2022 In the month of September, I have sewn three baby quilts, and 1 big one. Lots of new babies coming in the family which is great. I will try to get my camera working so I can post some pictures. My head is still into altered books and I have three on the go at the moment.

06.01.2022 Had another great morning with my art therapy group. REally happy at the way they are all progressing.

04.01.2022 I had been thinking about what to do for the Northam Art Prize and have now started an abstract painting, first in oil sticks, then covered it over with oil paint, which i like the look of, but hells bells, it takes so long to dry and I have only done the first coat. Lucky I have another week before the 28th to drop off pictures. I have two others , just waiting on hubby to frame them for me, no pressure, I realise that making guitars comes first.
