So I thought a freezing guide might be helpful for others too Please note- this is not to encourage stocking up the freezer or panic buying!!! It’s designed to help manage what you have at home now, and most importantly how to limit food waste..one positive to come out of this would be for us to reduce food wastage to a minimum, and keep it up long term

No ‘avoid’ lists (unless it’s medically necessary), restrictions or crazy rules- we work with the food you love to help you on your way to good nutritional health and long term results. When you sign up we will not only ask you about the food you eat and love but about your lifestyle - do you work/study, cooking budget, allergies, activity and what works for yo...u when it comes to food prep etc. All these things need to be considered when making successful nutrition changes. Most importantly, we want to make this a positive journey- eating well should never involve guilt, unrealistic expectations or the feeling of missing out. 08.01.2022 Peanut Butter Bars We must admit, we are always drawn to a no-bake recipe, keep it quick and easy! These can be made at the start of the week and kept in the fridge or freezer. They are a regular feature in our meal plans yum! Oat flour (grind oats in food processor) 1.5 cups... Vanilla protein powder 1.5 cups (optional for those needing extra protein) Rice bubbles 1.5 cups Chia seeds 3 tbsp Peanut Butter 3/4 cup Milk (of choice) 1/2 cup Honey 1/3 cup Water 1/4 cup Method: 1. In a mixing bowl combine oat flour, protein powder, rice bubbles and chia seeds 2. In a second bowl, combine PB, milk and honey. Microwave to melt (~30 secs) 3. Add PB mix and water to dry ingredients and combine. If it’s too sticky- add extra water 4. Pour into a flat pan (lined with baking paper) 5. Freeze for at least 30 min 6. Cut into 12-16 bars and enjoy! Energy per serve (for 12 serves) ~ 900 kJ/230 cals Protein 12g per serve See more

04.01.2022 Congratulations to all those who competed in the #ironmantri in #portmaquarie last weekend, particularly our own Fare Nutrition client @kyliejean0908! We assisted Kylie with a nutrition training plan and a pre-race fuelling plan which included a carb loading regime- essential to fuelling for any long endurance event.
