25.01.2022 Thank you @pandemicportraits_au #Repost @pandemicportraits_au with @get_repost My name is Nadim, and together with my sister Joanne, we own and run Farina 00 Wood Fired Pizza in Northcote. We have had the business for almost 5 years and we love what we do. When the COVID-19 crisis hit, it hit us hard. We didn’t know what it would mean for the business we had worked so hard to build for almost 5 years and what the future would hold for Farina 00. We were absolutely devast...ed to think it was all over. But thankfully, we have an awesome community around us and if not for the support of our locals and loyal customers we wouldn’t be here today. They have given us hope that we will come out of this so much stronger. The first few weeks were tough as we tried to find our feet, shifting the business to a takeaway only model. There were quite a few teething problems at the start but we have managed to adapt. The hardest part of all this is not being able to have a chat and catch up with our regular customers who have become like family. We miss the buzz of a busy Friday night when locals come in for a bite and begin to unwind for the weekend. We are busy preparing to re open our doors for dine in and while they’ll only be a limited number we can sit, we are so excited to be able to start to get back to doing what we love. See more

21.01.2022 As we continue to try make changes during this crazy time we just want to thank you all for your support and patience. We hope to be able to offer a revised version of our full menu soon and be back to full operating hours for takeaway but for now we are still making delicious wood fired pizzas on a reduced number of days. This week we will be open for takeaway and delivery on Friday and Saturday only from 5pm. We will continue to push through as we work out the best way to continue to offer not just the same best quality you know and love but also our service. 20.01.2022 There’s seems to be a change every hour, and now with the latest 4 square meter per person rule, it has made it impossible for us to keep our little restaurant open. As of tomorrow our dine in restaurant will be closed but we will have take away and delivery pizza only. Not sure how much longer we can keep only this side of our business going but this is what has become of this craziness. Thank you for your continued support, we will keep on keeping for as long as we can.

15.01.2022 Our restaurant will remain closed until further notice, but, for now and as long as we can, we are still doing takeaway and delivery on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only. 11.01.2022 There are no words to describe how incredibly grateful we are. Your love, support and especially your patience is so overwhelming. Tonight we were inundated with orders and wait times were certainly long but that didn’t matter to you. You patiently waited as we powered through them. It breaks us a little when we have to tell people wait times is sometimes up to an hour because that’s not who we are, but you get it and happily wait. I wish we could tell you how much that means to us. WE HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMERS and we certainly wouldn’t be here without you

09.01.2022 With restrictions still in place for restaurants/cafes, for us l, this means we cannot open for dine in just yet. Our place is too small to be able to adhere to the density rule. We have a couple of tables outside if anyone is walking past and would like to have a sit down meal. But otherwise our dine in remains closed. 07.01.2022 Looks like we got ahead of ourselves and didn’t check the regulations properly. Unfortunately due to the size of our restaurant it will be hard for us to open for dine in as expected next week. We are so disappointed but the health and safety of our customers and staff must come first. We will continue to offer takeaway and delivery for now and hope to open up for dine in soon! We don’t know what the next few weeks will bring but with your constant support we can continue to do what we love. While at Farina 00 we have always had great hygiene practices in place, we are so much more focused on this now more than ever to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
