Today, I found out that I have been successful in securing a Principal’s position at a school closer to home, and this means that my time at Farleigh SS is drawing to a close at the end of the term. Indeed, Friday may possibly be my last day, as I have to travel to my new school for a formal handover early next week. 18.01.2022 REMINDER: All children participating in the Colour Run on the 9th will need to wear a white shirt, white shorts if they have them. I strongly suggest you grab one for a couple of $$ sooner rather than later as I don’t think we are the only school / organisation colour-running during that week in Mackay

13.01.2022 The prize orders are IN! I’ve caught the last few students and they’ve now ordered their prizes. I have been assured by Dean, our wonderful Colour Run support coordinator, all prizes will definitely arrive before the end of term. Thank you once more for your astonishing generosity. Dean himself told me this morning that our community has done an exceptional job of raising a grand total of $8,100! ... Our P and C will receive at least $4,860 of that amount. I am humbled and grateful to you all. Please pass on the good news and our gratitude to all of your friends, neighbours and extended family who helped us achieve this goal! Angela

12.01.2022 Today 2/3 decorated some gluten-free gingerbread. Everyone had a great time expressing their creativity in a different way to normal.

12.01.2022 First heat of LEGO Masters is complete. A really good effort considering they only had 2 hours this year! We had so many teams enter it was the only way to fit it all in.

10.01.2022 Don’t forget that all grade 6 students should be attending their chosen high school today for their transition day. They should wear their full school uniform and take lunch with them as usual. I trust they enjoy their day at ‘big’ school.
