24.01.2022 Sending a bunch of these beauties to all the Mums out there! Happy Mother’s Day!

24.01.2022 What a difference a month can make. A month of decent rain. A difference to your outlook, perspective, planning, future, mindset. A glimmer of hope for this year. ... We’ve entered more records in our Spray, Paddock and Rainfall Diaries than we have in a very long time. In fact, we’re not used to this much data entry! Hopefully it’s not a false start and a sign of things to come for everyone. #farmdiaryapp #farmrecordkeeping #spraydiary #organisedfarmer #paddockdiary #farmingapps #rainfalldiary #agtech #farmlife #croppingfarm #australianfarmers See more

23.01.2022 Who’s ready for a top up?? And no we’re not talking about the usual Saturday night beverage top up although that’s always a winner too! A perfect drop of 25-50mm of steady rain would kick these little faba beans along nicely. We’ll keep our fingers crossed these storm clouds building in the distance deliver! #farmdiaryapp #paddockdiary #fababeans #wintercrop2020 #keeptheraincoming #sowing2020 #farmlife

23.01.2022 And sow it begins....sowing time!

22.01.2022 Dust to mud to green. It’s been great to see the dusty dry paddocks replaced with a green pick after the rain, even if it is mostly yellow vine! The only down side to this is that it’s time to sit on the sprayer to maintain our fallow. It’s such a shame to replace the green with the brown but at least we have a little bit of hope for a better start to the cropping season. ... To test out the spray diary, head to our website http://www.farmdiary.com.au or to the App Store https://apps.apple.com/au/app/farm-diary/id1097197108 for a free month trial of Farm Diary. #farmdiaryapp #spraydiary See more

22.01.2022 Cab fever + iso, a good combo for some creative commentary!

20.01.2022 So much goodness in this photo. Green pastures, full dams, creeks running, paddocks getting ready for autumn sowing and rain falling gently from the sky. What a perfect combo for one busy Farm Diary user! ... #farmdiaryapp #paddockdiary #livestockdiary #machinerydiary #spraydiary #rainfalldiary #agtech #farmtech #farmingapps #autumncropping #rain #greenpaddocksareback

17.01.2022 Gosh these weather events have been hit and miss but we’re hoping these skies will deliver the goods today! Speaking of rain, we’ve had an issue with our rainfall diary when recording rainfall events on the same day across different farms. We apologise for any issues this has caused and we’ll have an update out next week which will fix this error. We really appreciate feedback on our app. We created Farm Diary so that it can be as unscripted as possible so each person... can use and record their information in the way they want to. This means that sometimes we don’t see the same errors showing up as others might do and we can’t fix what we don’t know about so please email us with any issues at [email protected]. #farmdiaryapp #rainfalldiary #senditdownhuey #spreadtherainfarandwide #rainisagoodthing #farmingapps #farmtechnology See more

16.01.2022 Happy international rural women’s day. A day to celebrate and appreciate all the incredible rural women in our lives. At Farm Diary, we are surrounded by an amazing bunch of women, both friends and family, who guide and support us unconditionally. Rural women prop up our small communities in so many different ways and roles, both paid and unpaid. ... Let’s continue to support these inspirational women, supporting not only their achievements and dreams but their well-being and day to day livelihoods. #irwd2020 #internationaldayofruralwomen #womenofag #lifeontheland #inspirationalwomen #aglikealady #rurallife #grazihermoments #womeninagriculture #womeninagribusiness See more

14.01.2022 Happy Easter! We hope you’ve all had a cracking Easter weekend wherever you might be. Hopefully next year we can have a few more visitors around our campfire!

14.01.2022 What a bloody monster of a storm! Anyone else about to get hit this arvo? #summerstorm #senditdownhuey #farmdiaryapp #rainfalldiary

12.01.2022 Sunday arvo paddock checks...and plenty of space to self isolate! We can’t help thinking how lucky we are to have the space and distance to get out and about, breathe in fresh air, be able to grow vegies fresh to pick each day and eggs and meat in ready supply so we can avoid the shops for as long as we can...or at least until we run out of loo paper! There’s no better place to be right now. Stay safe and well everyone, let’s stop the spread.... #stayathome #stopthespread #beatthevirus #agricultureisanessentialservice #feedtheworld #aussiefarmers See more

10.01.2022 Ok it’s nearly the end of April and quite a few months now since we launched Farm Diary. We know, you’re meant to do the whole ‘introduce yourself thing’ when you launch but hey, better late than never! To be completely honest, we’ve been trying to muster up the courage to put a face to the brand and share it on social media for a while now (so please be kind). So hello! We are Brian and Em, the creators of Farm Diary app. Brian’s the ideas man behind Farm Diary. A mix...ed grain and livestock farmer who needed a simple, fuss free online tool to keep track of farm records. Em, she’s the better half of the duo and the driving force behind the business with a background in agribusiness and health. All in all we are two people having a crack on a product that was created for our farming business. We hope that Farm Diary is as much of a handy tool for your farming business as it is for ours. Show us some support by sharing, liking, tagging @farmdiaryapp or using #farmdiaryapp as much and as often as you can; we guarantee that it’ll be our shout to say thanks if we get a chance to catch up with you one day! Oh, and while we’re talking about showing some support, we’d like to say a huge thank you to Sophie, Jemima and Clancy for running a fantastic marketing workshop and giving us the opportunity to have this photo taken. Head to their IG accounts @clancyjob @locallovely @the_repose @saddlerandco for some seriously good photography, recipes, leather goods and accomodation. They are a talented bunch and well worth a follow! See more

10.01.2022 Finally, daylight savings has finished. It’s a bloody long 6 months that’s for sure. I think we need to move to QLD! Anyone else have strong feelings about daylight savings time? Hate it or love it?

09.01.2022 Crops? Header? Weather? We are ready and waiting to update our Paddock Diary and finally add some grain yields to our records. This time last year we were doing rain dances and thanking our lucky stars for any little drop of rain. What a contrast to this year! ... But despite the rain we’ll still take this year over the last 3 years any day. Let’s hope we can all get back in the paddock soon! #farmdiaryapp #paddockdiary #harvest2020 #harvesttime #wheatcrops #harvestready #farmrecordkeeping #cropyield #aussiefarmers #farmdatacollection #farmtech #agtech #aussieag #fieldsofgreenturngold #australianagriculture #farm365 #australianproduce #farmingforthefuture #sustainablefarming #agriculturephotography

06.01.2022 Ready for a good news story yet?? We’ll we’ve got one to wrap up your week. This is some of our Nov ‘18 sorghum crop planted on a very dusty, windy Melbourne Cup day with the hope of promised summer rain. The boys even missed watching the race that stops the nation for this crop! It didn’t deliver and we harvested a very dismal amount of grain off the very best of it. The upside of a failed crop through 2019? Some ground cover and stock feed. Priceless in the middle of a ri...p roaring drought. We said see ya later 2019 (and don’t you ever show your face again) and a big hello to 2020, bringing with it the best consistent, decent rainfall since 2016. Our ‘18 sorghum crop has seen +300mm this year and is looking the goods. Yes it’s a second hand crop, and yes we probably should have sprayed it out long ago, but on the back of the last 3 years, we’re going to take this small win and run with it....let's just hope we can keep the bloody birds out of it until harvest! Now that’s a good news story worth sharing. #farmdiaryapp #paddockdiary #goodnewsstory #sorghum #sorghumcrop #droughtbegone #aussiefarms #agriculturephotography #thelifeofafarmer #farmingforthefuture
