24.01.2022 Final run for 2020 done! It has been a trying year for many people, we have done our best to help as many as possible Today we delivered our Christmas hampers to 40 families in the southern highlands in our hamper van Our Farm Aid Big Truck also distributed 19 tonnes of fruit bread and veggies to farmers to help feed their livestock.... We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers. without them none of this could have happened A special thanks to the farmers that organised a surprise afternoon tea today. It was very much appreciated and left us speechless. 23.01.2022 Flood Assist Fund Raising We need help We are already getting an overwhelming number of calls for assistance from flood affected areas... Crops are getting destroyed, houses are flooding and livestock is getting caught in the floods We are raising funds to help as many of our farmers as we can We have also opened up our Hampers for Farmers program to other charities and any one that needs it $20 will get a family in need a hamper to help them get through the week We also need funds to keep our fleet moving Any donations will make a difference Our goal for this campaign is to raise $100,000 please help by donating what you can and sharing our posts with your friends You can donate below or visit our website www.farmaidaustralia.org

23.01.2022 Huge delivery Saturday The Farm Aid Big Truck delivered 21 tonnes of bread fruit and veggies to help farmers feed their livestock Our Hamper Van wad overworked making all the usual delivery stops plus an additional lot of Emergency hampers to help 15 families affected by floods A big thank you to all the volunteers tha helped load, unload and prepare hampers to make all this happen... 04.01.2022 Happy Birthday Farm Aid Australia is turning 1 this month Even though we started helping farmers in February 2019 we were officially recognised as a charity in October 2019 What a year it has been We have collected and distributed 1000 tonnes of fruit veggies and bread that would have otherwise gone to landfill ... We have helped over 40 farming families feed their livestock We partnered with Foodbank NSW & ACT and started our Hampers for Farmers program. It has been a huge success, We have packed and delivered 2360 food Hampers to families in need Some families were able to purchase the hamper and others in dire need got free hampers that have been donated by our supporters through our website This year we have seen Droughts, Fires, Floods and COVID19 Once Covid hit we made our hampers available to anyone in need and other charities. 02.01.2022 2020 in review So far this year we have collected and distributed 420 tonnes of Bread, fruit and Veggies to Aussie Farmers to help feed their livestock Our Hampers for Farmers program has Seen 1200 hampers being prepared and delivered to families in need... We are working hard at reducing the stress on families in these unprecedented times that 2020 has brought. People out of work struggling to put food on the table has a serious effect on mental health and takes families to breaking point The fallout from The Drought, the Fires and the floods that have ravaged Australia in 2020 is greater than ever. Compounded by a world wide pandemic it has left people needing our help more than ever.
