25.01.2022 Announcement **** Update on Court Usage **** Dear Club Members and Farmbrough Heights Community.... We are living through interesting and ever changing times. The latest advice from Tennis NSW and WTCA allows us to open our courts for limited use and under strictly controlled conditions. Our coach, Andrew Parker, will be offering one-on-one coaching. He will have priority use of the courts and he will be responsible for sanitising gates, locks and equipment that he uses. Why does he have priority? Because, as a club, we need to keep him involved as his coaching associated with our club will provide an income stream once life returns to normal. What are the conditions applying to club members use of the courts? There is a limit of two (2) players per court. Spectators are not permitted. If both players are under age and parental supervision is required, one parent is allowed to accompany the children. Note that family (household) groups are allowed, but only one family at a time at the courts, as we all must observe social distancing requirements to comply with Government guidelines. Social distancing is enforceable by the police, not by the club. Users are responsible for their own sanitising and hygiene of locks, gates, and any other surfaces touched. This should be done before and after use to ensure, as far as possible, that our courts are kept virus free for all members. We ask that you bring your own racquets and balls. The clubhouse is off limits to minimise areas requiring cleaning. Toilets are only to be used in an emergency and must be sanitised after use. Casual Hire: There is no key available at the Top Shop. Any casual hire will have to be arranged through Robyn Bradley as Club Secretary and can be contacted on 0411 464 159. Casual hirers will be subject to the same conditions as above. NOTE: Because we are not able to monitor all court usage, it is imperative that each user follows good practice in cleaning and sanitising, and abides by the Government requirements for social distancing.
