25.01.2022 It was a good morning up at rathdowney butchering this very healthy heifer

22.01.2022 Had a good good morning out passed Esk putting a very large heffer in the coolroom. A few sausages made yesterday with secret herbs and spices .

21.01.2022 It was at great day today .1 large steer dressed. It was up at Pomona. Then off to noosa heads for a swim . January is nearly booked out . Get in quick to process your livestock for early next year

17.01.2022 They ran to the groceries, they filled up their carts, They emptied Checkers, PnP and Spar They panicked and fought and then panicked some more, Then they... rushed to their homes and they locked all the doors. The food will be gone! The milk eggs and cheese! The yogurt! The apples! The green beans and peas! The stores have run out, now what will we do? They’ll be starving and looting and nothing to do! Then they paused, and they listened a moment or two. And they did hear a sound, rising over the fear, It started out far, then began to grow near. But this sound wasn’t sad, nor was it new, The farms were still doing what farms always do. The food was still coming, though they’d emptied the shelves, The farms kept it coming, though they struggled themselves, Though the cities had forgotten from where their food came, The farms made them food every day, just the same. Through weather and critics and markets that fall, The farms kept on farming in spite of it all. They farmed without thank yous. They farmed without praise. They farmed on the hottest and coldest of days. They’d bought all the food, yet the next day came more, And the people thought of something they hadn’t before. Maybe food, they thought, doesn’t come from a store. Maybe farmers, perhaps, mean a little bit more.

15.01.2022 My yearly trip out to blackbutt another big beast done for the zoo! This morning i put a very nice heifer in the frige for a regular customer at Hatton vale.

15.01.2022 Yesterday this big steer nearly dressed at 400kg .. We had a big day today processed 4 steers 1 cow in nsw at Duranbah. Great place to be ! We are now taking bookings early in 2020 !

09.01.2022 After having 4 days of rest, we are back into it to finish off the year. November is booked solid. Thanks to all my ongoing customers and our new ones as well. The list is growing. One job recently, 3 cattle 900kg+ at the back of Narang. It was challenging but we got it done. Plenty of photos and new areas to explore.

They were about 6 inch long . Yummy!! Two very nice steers in the cool room today 18 months old . Photos to come .!
