19.01.2022 ONE MORE DAY... so here I sit writing possibly my last post to this site. 9 years.. 9 years of hard work , fun and great friendships made. Many days filled with laughs and some filled with tears. It’s been a great ride Goulburn that’s for sure. To my loyal customers... that are more than that... my friends.... it is you who we remember the good times with and it is to you that we say THANKYOU. To my suppliers who have stood by us through good times and bad it is you that we ...think of going forward and hope that one day someone is brave enough to start another store that you can help fill their shelves. To all of you we say THANKYOU. To my staff past and present. It is you that made the decision to pack up the hardest. You are the people that have made coming to work fun and down right hilarious at times. You have stood with us along this steep ride and for that we are eternally greatful. It is you that we will miss the most of all ... and one special girl ... yes it is you Tegan England that I will miss the most... work mate for sure... but so so so much more. To all past and present Team Feld we say THANKYOU. To our fabulous bank manager and accountant who helped us make the hardest decision to close and sell our much loved home.... the care you showed during this hard time we will NEVER forget. I know you both have been and are still worried about us ... but don’t worry we are ok and we will be with you by our side. To you both we say THANKYOU. Last but not least to my family... it’s now your time. To my kids... after tomorrow you get your mum back.. no working every spare minute, no dragging you to the shop and no more broken promises. It will be tough for a while financially for us, but we will get through this.. mum will make sure. To my husband... it’s now time for us, no more one going to work as the other comes home, no more bugging each other about work after the work day is done and most importantly no more computer taken in family holidays cause I had no choice. It’s time for US as a family to have down time and regenerate and have the adventure of a lifetime... we may not have much but we have each other and our health and you can’t put a price tag on that! So to Goulburn we say goodbye at 5pm tomorrow and we will miss you all but we are also looking forward to our future wherever that may take us. Always Susan xx

16.01.2022 Well it’s time Goulburn.. this is to announce that Farmer Felds is closing it’s doors. After 9 years and some very hard financial times for us we have made the tough decision to make this call. As you could appreciate this decision has not come lightly and we have had a very emotional meeting with all our staff... who like us are sad that it has come to this day. We tried Goulburn ...harder than you may ever know to keep this store running for our community, but it is time no...w. It’s time for new beginnings for the Feld family including selling up our family home, and hitting the road for a while. So please don’t be sad Goulburn and come in store the next couple weeks and grab your fresh fruit and veg... have a coffee and cake and more importantly come say hi to us all! Let’s make it a happy ending for our much loved business and for our amazing staff who we so much. Closing down sale starts this Monday. See more
