25.01.2022 A different fencing project. Here the client wanted wooden posts, rabbit netting, a standard gate and personnel gate to separate the garden and house from the rest of the block

23.01.2022 Good rain has recently fallen. With the rain, temperatures have dropped dramatically and hence earthmite are on the move. Clovers are only small because of the late start to the season and so easily damaged by earthmite. Keep an eye out for them and spray if necessary.

23.01.2022 These blackberries were sprayed in late November with a glyphosate brushoff mix. An economic mix with a great result for the client.

21.01.2022 All this mess was caused by a pin hole in the poly pipe at the riser. The second photo one week after repair, and all is good

21.01.2022 G'day everyone Summer is here and so the threat of fire. If you have dead plants near buildings or plants in your gutter as shown, it is time to clean up.

19.01.2022 On Thursday a nuisance bull was removed from one of our local communities. My thanks to Ged Parker and his dogs who did a great job mustering , yarding and loading a particularly difficult beast.

19.01.2022 This is a cherry and apple tree that have been browsed. Not by goats or deer but by kangaroos. They are a major problem around the Albury area. As Summer approaches more roos will be grazing the lawns of the small block owners and it is , l fear , only time before someone is badly hurt by an aggressive buck.

18.01.2022 Holbrook Landcare sponsored job at Gerogery. The new toy can drive a lot of posts in a short time with good soil conditions

17.01.2022 Silo art at its best. This is at my home town of Grenfell. The artist is HEESCO. Everything depicted is typically Grenfell.

17.01.2022 Wombat problems.A wombat setting up home in the wrong spot can cause major problems. The wombat dug in under the water tank with 30 tonnes of water in it and over time has caused the tank to subside and shift. As a consequence the down pipes from the shed have been torn off.Major repairs to be done. A lot of water is going to be wasted.

17.01.2022 The latest purchase is this little spreader. Now is the time to apply superphosphate to pastures. Pastures can be topped up with new varieties by mixing it with the fertilizer.

13.01.2022 Custom fencing job west of Albury. Concrete posts which were on hand used at gateway. The droppers are original wooden ones that could be 50 years old. Getting the gates level was a bit tricky but all worked out good. On top of that it was a great late winters day.

12.01.2022 A small concreting job for a client. Neither the dairy cow or the milker will be dealing with wet ground again.

12.01.2022 Not only do we construct and repair fences but every now and then we do a demolition. Always wear the hard hat! Happy Christmas everyone.

08.01.2022 Before and after shots of the Border Collie proof fence

07.01.2022 The old ute fitted out with 6 metre boomspray and spot spraying gear.Currently spraying blackberry and St Johns wort.

07.01.2022 Capeweed showing effect of spray 1 day after spraying. High volume, low pressure used to good effect.

05.01.2022 Another different fencing project. This one is for native vegetation regeneration. The main feature being the netting set low to create a 30 cm skirt to keep rabbits out.

05.01.2022 Interesting things you see. When this tree was alive it was used as a stay on a dog leg in the boundary fence. Creek on other side of tree.

04.01.2022 Small set of yards set up for a client with 20 to 25 sheep. All materials sourced locally.

04.01.2022 A small blackberry and briar rose killed with judicious and economic use of herbicide for a client.

03.01.2022 What do you do when there is a horse in the road when you are fencing? In the case of this little bloke you pick him up, tuck him under your arm and put him out the way.
