The Farmer In The City family will be celebrating this wonderful day at the Milton Markets (cnr Cribb and Little Cribb Streets).... To help make this a fun and enjoyable day for all Dads, Farmer In The City has donated a $100 Grassfed Meat Pack to be included in the Milton Market Father's Day Giveaways. The pack includes: Eye Fillet, T Bones, Lamb Leg Roast, Worcestershire Sausages, Beef Sausages, Lamb Mint and Rosemary Sausages and two 500g portions of our premium Grassfed Preservative Free Mince. 06.01.2022 Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend. The Farmer In The City family spent Saturday at the MDNA courts, Coorparoo. Both Lily and Stella played well and enjoyed their games. No wins this weekend (one draw and one narrow defeat). Both were great games.... Sunday we were up bright and early for the Milton Markets. It was wonderful to see so many people about this weekend. I think everyone was enjoying the sunshine and just loving being outside. Especially after the rain last Sunday, the fridges needed restocking! Our meat truck was very busy. it was great to see all of our regular customers and some new ones too. We look forward to catching up with our "Market Friends" each week. Finding out what they have been up to and what they have been cooking. With the cooler weather a lot of families are slow cooking. Lamb shoulders, Osso Bucco , mince. diced beef and short ribs were very popular. One of regular customer loves our short ribs. He does most of the cooking in his family and shops with his daughters each Sunday. Lovely Daddy and daughter time.... Char Siu or Chinese barbecue sauce ribs are a favourite for this family. Here is a recipe for Char Siu sauce so that you can cook your own delicious sticky ribs at home! If you have any photos of your own cooking, we would love to see them!
