25.01.2022 Bircher season is in full swing at our place. Pictured here is Sal's Smashed Berry Bircher... see the little recipe below! We cover the mix of our Mixed Berry Muesli Mix with coconut water, and store in a container in the fridge overnight to let the magic happen. Now this mix, using coconut water, lasts for up to a week in the fridge. So it's a great time saver for busy mums like me. In the morning, I just serve it into bowls (or keep cups), add a dollop of yoghurt (dairy ...or coconut), and give it a good mix. The kids eat it just like that, and Scotty and I will often top ours with some granola or seeds, and a bit of fresh fruit. Simple, summery breakfast.
