19.01.2022 Tamworth - 18th of November - 62 tonne of Mineral blocks donated by Olsson’s Salts Australia for drought affected farmers in the Tamworth/ New England area. Thank you to Olsson’s for this most generous donation. Thank you to the Rural Assistance Authority for transportation cost assistance.... Thank you to Parry Logistics for donating the difference in transport costing. Thank you to Alison and Mick Dawson of Ausskips Tamworth for the use of their facility, forklift and operator’s, for distribution. Thank you to Rob, Jamie and Richard from Ausskips for kindly donating their after hours time to drive the forklift for loading pallets. Especially Jamie who was called back to work one afternoon to load a truck. Thank you to the FHF volunteer ‘lifter’ Troi, Daniel and Aaron.. without your efforts things would have been a lot tougher. A big thank you to all the farmers who took into account that Ausskips is a work business, by collecting their blocks on a tight distribution schedule .

05.01.2022 Tamworth - 50 tonne of Loose Harvested Sugarcane - Bundaberg Sugar. A huge Thank you goes to Justin Davies of the Bundaberg Sugar Research Centre and Bundaberg Sugar who very generously donated a 50 tonne crop of Sugarcane that was being stood over this year. Thank you to Mick McCulloch of McCulloch Bull Haulage and the Rural Assistance Authority for the transport to Tamworth. ... Massive Thank you to Cyril and James Scanlon of Scanlons Concrete in Nemingah who supplied space at their depot for the cane to be stored, plus a loader and operator, to load farmers vehicles. Without the assistance of all of these businesses, none of this would be possible.
