14.01.2022 Wow its been a year since the crazy all started, In April of 2020 we didn't know if we were Arthur or Martha. We were doing massive days and our team or friends went above and beyond to help us manage to try and survive the unknown. We had nothing in place for home delivery , it was all new to us, and we were manually trying to handle hundreds of enquires a day as well as box and ship hundreds of orders with staff or friends ( basically anyone who we knew was asked to help)... most had no experience in the industry and we made a lot of mistakes along the way, but we learnt quickly and in the end we formed a beautiful network of loyal customers and farmers who support us every week, which in turn keeps our staff in safe secure jobs. It keeps our families with a roof over our head, and we have made so many new friends along they way. We are so grateful to all and everyone of you who has supported us this past year. We try our hardest to support the local regional farmers first but-- if the capsicum (for example) is out of season and our customers want capsicum then we have to buy capsicum in. ( capsicum is used as an example, they are currently direct from the farm) Hope that makes sence? General rule of thumb, buy up big when items are in season and Jam, freeze, pickle, sorbet, sauce, pesto etc as much as you can if you have the time and space, it saves in the long run when things become expensive.
