Peter has had a busy morning at the markets once again and has sent us a couple of pics from the Rocklea Markets so you can get a little bit of insight into what his Tuesday mornings are like. The picture of the vehicles is when everyone is leaving after packing produce to the rafters but first thing of a morning that parking area is absolutely full of vehicles. 25.01.2022 Hi guys, I am doing meals this week only for those who have privately messaged me wanting them as this week I will have home made cordial concentrate with blood oranges, lemons and limes from our trees...and a few left over oranges left from last week. It can be mixed with vodka and soda water or leave out the alcohol for a refreshing afternoon drink to quench your thirst. 21.01.2022 The humble cucumber....we know that cucumbers are good for us, containing antioxidants and high in fibre (aiding in 'regularity') and also being made up of 96% water they can also help keep us hydrated. These are all beneficial ways the cucumber can help us by ingesting them. BUT there is also another benefit...we've all seen those adds and photos of women putting slices over their tired, puffy eyes. Our 4 year old grandson took this to a whole new level. His mummy made him lunch, went back to the kitchen and came back to this.... He obviously knows the benefits of cucumbers.

I asked Peter to buy me a box of beautiful fresh medjool dates last week to make them. These little gems also have in them...flaxseeds, chia seeds, rolled oats, peanut butter and our exquisite home 'grown' raw honey...all blended together and rolled in coconut. $6 for a bag of 6. It is really starting to warm up & I would like to remind you to PLEASE leave an esky out with some ice bricks/ frozen bottles of water inside for us to pop your produce into.. An esky won’t help allot without ice bricks/ bottles inside, but is better then nothing. If you don’t own an esky, please leave out a thick towel or blanket to cover the box & some frozen bottles of water also to pop on top to help a bit.. ...
