18.01.2022 Minister for Ag, Drought and Emergency Management David Littleproud recently announced an enquiry into the supermarket supply chain and unfair shifting of risk and cost onto farmers. The enquiry is now underway and the Minister is encouraging farmers to make a submission to the ACCC. Please see attached for further information. 12.01.2022 The quarterly outlook released yesterday by the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC predicts a normal fire season for Victoria and New South Wales. The report states that overall the influence of a possible La Niña is expected to reduce the risk of prolonged fire activity across most of Victoria, leading to an assessment of normal fire potential for the outlook period for the entire state.
