20.01.2022 This handsome gentleman is George, one of our therapy horses. He is wearing his brand new, very stylish winter rug. He is a gentle giant, you need to work your way up to this fella. Hope to see you soon.

19.01.2022 Farmyard Therapy provides a service for people with mental health issues, disabilities, autism and recovering from accidents. We have a 20 acre property which provides a calm and quiet atmosphere in which people can relax and unwind. We invoice your N.D.I.S. Plan Manager, so you are no out of pocket. Come by yourself or with a Support Worker. Our goal is to make your time here as pleasant as possible. You have a staff member available to you at all times to arrange things f...or you and help where needed. We don't tell you what you can do, you tell us what you would like to do and as long as it is within our range of activities, that's what you will do. You come first while you are with us. We have activities for all ages, the most popular being, patting, grooming, cuddling and loving animals and acrylic pouring paintings. If you aren't into activities, you can sit in the peace and quiet and read a book with a cuppa and cake or have a walk around the property. We also offer short term respite stays. Your room includes a double bed, T.V. and an en-suite with a bath and shower. A variety of books to read or do puzzles in. Please PM your email address if you would like a brochure sent to you.

18.01.2022 This is some great artwork from one of our regular clients. Today he created this beautiful painting and an amazing piece of jewelry.

18.01.2022 I'd like to introduce the Queen of the household, Maggie. She loves people and loves pats. She is very entertaining and enthusiastic and will be happy to greet you.

10.01.2022 I thought you might like to see some of the artwork some of Farmyard Therapy clients have done. So much fun to do and a very pretty piece of art at the end. Some of them are actually for sale if you are interested, the proceeds going to buying more art supplies. I hope looking at these brightens your day, just a bit.

10.01.2022 Are you an NDIS Participant and like being out in the fresh air in a peaceful and relaxing place? Farmyard Therapy might just be the place for you to come on a regular basis, once in a while or short term respite. All with or without a Support Worker. We provide one one one service, so we are always there to help and teach you. We have many activities and if there is something you would like to do that we don't currently provide, we are happy to include it, if at all possib...le. You can interact with horses, but no riding at this stage, clay modeling, spray painting, acrylic paint pouring, gardening tie dying, helping with the Wildlife Shelter as an example. Now that we are heading into the colder months, most activities can be done inside where we stay warm with our cosy fire. Here are pictures of the respite room and en-suite. Bookings are essential so please call Penny on 0412143372 or PM me.

03.01.2022 We have a new member of the Farmyard Therapy team. Introducing Sherlock the mini goat. I'm trying to find a friend for him so we'll hopefully have 2 mini goats soon. We only have rescue animals on our farm, so it may take a little while to get goat number, his name will be Watson. I must mention that Sherlock was originally rescued by Gumbya Park.
