The Barrabadeen Campsite is a vital piece of infrastructure for our region providing opportunities for youth to experience a range of activities not available to individual groups. Leaders celebrate their youth members achievements, encourage them when they struggle and offer an ear to listen when needed. Madison was lucky enough to have Super Sam (left) and Blue (right) as her leaders for 4 and 7 years respectively during her time in Scouts and Venturers. Madison, we will miss your smile and passion for wanting to make our wider community a better place. On behalf of all leaders and youth members in Far North Region, our thoughts are with your family and friends. Madison has been an active and engaged youth member in our region and a valued member of our Region Support Committee, the Q...LD Branch Youth Council, amongst other roles. When the timing is right, Far North Region Scouts will be together celebrating the life of our young Rover. (More information will be circulated at a later time). This person ...will need to be able to commit to attending at least one committee meeting per term and have the desire to work with the MTMB committee members in the following areas. The MTMB Scholarship Scheme Fundraising - planning and delivery Future projects - works & implementation. As the youth voice of the MTMB you will be occasionally needed to attend social events to represent the MTMB and will be required to actively promote the MTMB to all Rover and Venturer Units in a positive light at all times.
