15.01.2022 If you want an experience try kiteboarding! This is one of the most amazing sports you can do and definitely my favourite sport How much does it cost to get started? You could pick up a full kit under $1000 including Kite, bar, harness, board.... Do you need a lot of upper body strength? No not at all. As you can see in the photo you have a harness which the kite is attached to. It is only tough when in choppy water. How long does it take to learn? This is different for everyone. It could be as little as 1 session of a few hours learning the basics of safety and how the kite works then getting out on the water. But it could also take a few sessions to get it. Wouldn’t you get thrown down the beach on really windy days. Hey yeah it could be possible if you don’t know how the kite works with the wind window. 12.01.2022 Kiteboarding has to be one of my favourite sports that I do. - You can use a surf board, wake board, foil board with many sizes of kites depending on the wind strength. Kiteboarding gives you the freedom of being able to go where you want on the water and catch any wave you like. - A lot of people steer away from the sport as they think it would be a tough sport to learn. Yes it’s not a sport you pick up instantly, it may take 2 good sessions on the water to be comfortable bu...t can vary for others. It is a good idea to go through a kiteboarding coach making it faster to learn safely. Another one I hear is it uses to much upper body strength, but all the support goes into a harness which the kite is connected to, which has very minimal upper body strength needed It is great for over all core strength though #kiteboarding #newcastle #faroutexperience #kitesurf #kite #surfing #wakeboarding #adventure See more
