In the legal profession this has meant that a hearings and appointments have been being held via video conference instead of face to face. Consequently, NSW and Victorian legal associations have engaged the National Institute of Dramatic Art for tips on how to teach lawyers and barristers to perform on camera. 08.01.2022 As a result of the Covid pandemic, legislation has been enacted to temporarily allow the witnessing of documents electronically through video means such as Facetime or Zoom. Our Solicitor's have remotely witnessed a number of documents recently under this new legislation, allowing everybody involved to practice proper social distancing and stay safe. If you have a document with us such as a will or power of attorney that needs to be witnessed please contact our offices to arrange a time for video witnessing.
