21.01.2022 To our lovely clients, If you didn’t hear the news tonight the new ruling is that we can stay open but only have appointments lasting for half an hour in the salon. Basically this means you can have a cut without a shampoo OR a shampoo and blow dry. Maybe putting on a colour for you to go and wash it out at home if you’re desperate?? I don’t know of any hairdressers that could do more than this in the time allocated. I understand this will be inconvenient but it’s necessary... to adhere to all of these rules. This comes into place tomorrow at midnight so If you’re free there are a couple of appointments available during the day. Thanks Christine, Allira, India and Sam.

15.01.2022 Hello to our lovely Gloss Hair clients, I’m very sorry to be sharing this news with you, but we have made the difficult decision to close the salon indefinitely (from tomorrow afternoon) because of unsafe working conditions due to the rapid spread of Coronavirus. It is not possible for us to work with your hair and not touch you or breathe near you. We are feeling quite vulnerable, and think this is the best thing to do for everyone concerned (...even if our government doesn...’t agree yet?) Thanks for your support and understanding. 11.01.2022 Happy Monday! Just letting our beautiful clients know we are now open Tuesday nights as well as Thursdays. (Usually until about 7.30pm) We have decided to open an extra late night so we can close a bit earlier on Fridays(3pm) I hope this doesn’t inconvenience anyone. Thanks!!

09.01.2022 Good morning everyone I just thought I’d keep you updated. Hairdressers are not included in this first stage of shutdown. Who knows what will happen next week? So at the moment appointments are as normal. Please don’t come in if you feel unwell. We have taken all magazines off the benches so feel free to bring your own reading material. Our coffee and tea will be served in disposable cups just for added precaution. So look after yourselves and we’ll keep in touch!
