07.01.2022 Did you know....... * Your roof space may be affecting your cooling or heating system? * Roof cavities can exceed 65 degrees in the middle of summer?... * Providing high quality, eco friendly systems are our passion? By removing the heat from your ceiling space you can significantly improve the efficiency of your air conditioning system which in turn will see significant power savings. Traditional whirly birds only move between 100m3 to 200m3 per hour and rely on air currents to work, with most types not meeting current bushfire safety requirements. In winter they also allow warm air to escape causing further efficiency issues. Other, larger air removal systems use precious power, or use solar but require you to manually turn them on and off. As well as meeting your air-conditioning and refrigeration needs, Farrington Refrigeration can supply and install a number of Australian manufactured products that greatly exceed the standard of other extraction systems. Solar powered extraction systems can remove up to 2300m3 per hour, 20 times more than a standard whirly bird. Thermostat controls mean systems will automatically turn on when the roof temperature reaches 25 degrees and turn off when the temperature drops, automated fans work to reduce the leakage of warm air in the winter and to decrease roof temperature in the summer. They won't draw from your power supply and no manual switches are required. Options also include 100% fire rated units to meet the standards of our tough Australian conditions. Additional options are available for mains connections to allow for back up night power. Make ventilation part of your air conditioning solution. Talk to us today about our eco friendly, solar products that could greatly improve your efficiency and reduce your power output.
