05.01.2022 I wasn’t planning to make these to sell... these are handmade with love for some very important people in my life who are currently in Victoria. Due to the interest and obvious lack of masks available over East I’m planning to make as many as I can manage to. I will post these to Instagram as I make them and will charge $20 for three masks posted anywhere in Australia. I’m not concerned about the cost to me, or my time. I just feel grateful that I can sit in the sunshine and... sew and help anyone who requires a mask. These are not medical grade, however they are surgical style masks, as thats my favourite style working as a theatre nurse, they are double layer, with a pocket to place a filter, this can be your choice, I will provide chux. I’m making these out of the goodvess of my heart and do not claim they will prevent corinavirus, but with mandatory mask wearing I would prefer to help provide masks that can be washed and hung to dry in sunshine, as opposed to disposable masks potentially being reused. If you wear glasses I can pop a small pocket to hold a pipe cleaner above the nose, this helps reduce fog.
