12.01.2022 Meet our first designer in the #Fashion360au x Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Boutique, Heshanie Tennekoon of Ileana. Ileana aspires to translate the beauty of cultures by creating a link between the east and the west. She does this by fusing traditional organic techniques with modern elements reflective of western society. To capture her vision, Heshanie combines batik prints and handlooms from the island of Sri Lanka. She then weaves them through her designs possessing flattering s...ilhouettes with a relaxed aura and freedom of movement. In addition to providing customers with a sense of exclusivity from subtle changes achieved from hand applications, each artisanal approach bears a story allowing the wearer the luxury of creative awakening. Don't miss Ileana in-store until the 23rd of December at 300 Adelaide St. Brisbane City.
