25.01.2022 Two weeks to go until season kick-off! Under 6-12s have games on Saturday 21st and 28th March. Under 13-17s have grading games on Friday 20th and 27th March and 3rd April. Full details are still being finalised and will be communicated through your coaches/team managers.

23.01.2022 It was an absolute cracking day today at the Kalbar Country Day. We were supported by so many people, and congratulations to our winners of the pass the ball competition and our raffle! Hope everyone else had as much fun as us! Thanks to our own volunteers, but also to the volunteers who made the day happen...... we are very proud to be apart of such a great occasion!

14.01.2022 Good Afternoon Junior Bombers. Some of you may have seen the below release from Rugby League Ipswich regarding the 2020 season. With the easing of some of the restrictions placed on our game, RLI put the call out to clubs to gauge interest for all clubs to return to play for a 10 week season commencing August and finishing mid October. The committee spoke extensively about all the aspects and requirements we would need to meet to be able to not only hold home games but also... travel and compete at away games. The decision was not made lightly and we understand that there will be some who are disappointed but The Fassifern Bombers will not be participating in the 2020 RLI Junior season. There are only 5 clubs who have decided to play on this year and we wish them all the best with the challenges they face. Players can apply to play for another club under the leagues portability rules where they remain a member of our club. There are 4 age brackets, up to 7, 8-10, 11-13 and 14-17. First person to score the highest in their age bracket will win a player protection pack consisting of headgear, shoulder pads and a mouthguard. As with the previously released guidelines, the handbook is consistent with the Queensland Government’s Return to Play Guidelines. In giving approval, the QRL Board acknowledged the response to the COVID-19 pandemic evolves almost daily and that the QRL will amend both documents as required in accordance with t...he most up to date advice from government and the health authorities. 01.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Firstly, Rugby League Ipswich would like to thank our community for their patience and understanding of the Return to Play in 2020. We are worki...ng hard with QRL and clubs on the best way to get rugby league back in Ipswich. It is within the best interest of our community to look at all options. The QRL Board are meeting on Friday to approve the QRL Return to Play Guidelines. Once approved, clubs will receive the document for the first time. The QRL Return to Play Guidelines will present a greater understanding of the protocols for our league and club volunteers to adhere by. Consultation between clubs, referee’s association, and the league will occur prior to any decision being made. We ask our players, parents, guardians, followers and our community to please be patient and stay safe throughout these difficult times.
