23.01.2022 First Aid Service Training 4U (FAST 4U) aims to train people in the important area of community first aid. We operate as trainers for Eclipse Education, as our RTO. All of our students enrol with Eclipse Education, receiving their online training modules from Eclipse Ed and post-training certification following our classroom-style face to face training. We offer flexible training, bringing our up-to-date equipment to you, whether that be at your work place or other facility. Being mobile means that we are able to facilitate your training at a time that suits you.

15.01.2022 GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE IN 2021... Risk for injuries and heart attack both rise dramatically during the holiday season. An increase in rates of injuries and sudden Cardiac Arrest is not unusual at this time of year and it is commonly attributed to holiday stress, as well as the consumption of richer foods and alcohol. Injuries and accidents rise due to cooking (often with many people in an unfamiliar kitchen), putting up holiday lights and decorations (and taking them down agai...n), and more. No matter what the reason, give life this season! Whether your training is still within the 3 year certification period or not, a refresher course in CPR and First Aid is timely, makes a great gift, and could help keep everyone safe. Remember that 80% of all bystander CPR is performed on loved ones! Now if you want to give the gift of lifesaving, we’ll pitch in too. We’ll add a FREE CPR KEYCHAIN MASK for every person who trains with us in 2021! Please contact us by email at [email protected], or alternately call us on 0409 251 523. We'd love to help you help others by conducting a First Aid or CPR course with you. Until then, wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ahead in 2021.

09.01.2022 With the announcement of the COVIDSafe Roadmap, FAST 4U has made plans for the return to safe and effective First Aid training for our returning clients... and for new clients, too! With the current restrictions in place due to the current COVID-19 pandemic being scaled down, allowing many people return to work, it is vital that your staff are fully trained in First Aid, which is a vital area in all of our daily lives. First Aid Services Training 4U (FAST 4U) has now re-opene...d and we have resumed First Aid training in conjunction with Eclipse Education (a Registered Training Organisation, RTO #32252). All FAST 4U clients will be enrolled in an Eclipse Education course Eclipse Ed handle the enrolment process, provide a link to the online education component and will issue the certification at the successful completion of the course; FAST 4U will provide the physical training component. To ensure that our clients and businesses, and their staff remain safe while training, we have instituted a Safe Training policy, by implementing the following steps. These are designed to maintain a clean working environment for all trainees and the trainer: Small class size, currently maximum of 7 people per class Each student will work on their own allocated manikin (i.e. no sharing) Manikins are cleaned and disinfected prior to each class Students must provide their own pens/pencils Students must wash their hands prior to each training session and at its completion. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Students will be required to have their temperature taken prior to the training using a non-contact thermal thermometer. Students will be provided with gloves and antibacterial hand sanitiser which must be used prior to, and at the conclusion of, each class. Note: Due to the nature of this training, there will be some physical touching required, such as when practising bandaging with another trainee. Trainees may wish to conduct this part of the training at home, but a video showing the student completing this training must be later sent to the trainer as verification of this activity, before the training can be regarded as completed. Hands only Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training must be conducted during the practical class. This must be completed on the classroom floor. In accordance with current Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines, to avoid cross contamination, rescue breathing into a manikin is NOT necessary breathing can be simulated. Students feeling unwell on the day of the practical training MUST NOT ATTEND*: if you have a temperature, fever, dry cough, aches and pains, sore throat, headache, loss of taste or smell, a rash on your skin, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure, or loss of speech or movement. *In these cases, the students must arrange to attend the practical training at a mutually-convenient time at a later date.
