Nobody wants to shave a dog in the middle of winter. Make it a weekly ritual and your dog will thank you for it! Don’t forget to brush right down to the skin (not just the top of the coat) including their legs, belly, ears and face

05.01.2022 Little Chooky after her first wash and blowdry Introducing puppies to grooming as soon as possible is so important for ensuring they will be comfortable and confident with the process as they grow up, even if you intend to do it yourself. It is reccomended to practice touching/holding paws EVERY DAY if you can, and regularly use brushes/nail clippers/dremel etc to get them used to the tools, try to make sure they are having a postive experience during this time. If you are having trouble you can try while they’re sleeping/relaxed and don’t force them into it if they are stressing. This ensures your dog will be happy and confident when being handled and it is 100% worth it. You can always tell when a dog has been in good hands as they love their pamper sessions
