19.01.2022 Ok we love time savers here at Fast Farm Fencing, so what are your favourite products and fencing tips?? Farms are needing to produce more produce on less land so time efficiency is really important, maybe you hold the key to turning non profit into profit!!

17.01.2022 Maybe you need to be using peeled over shaven pine posts?? Check out the difference... http://www.portlandpine.com.au/products.html

16.01.2022 Have you got a time saver idea or a particular tool that you just couldn't do without?? Share with us and help us to help others.....

16.01.2022 If you haven't heard of Youcamp and you would like to have a farm stay experience or have a farm that could use the extra potential income then check it out, what better way to really see Australia but to experience what is like on the farms that are the backbone of it. Plus the landscape you not normally get to see....what a treat!

16.01.2022 Vicebite fence brackets now have their own shopping cart, but don't forget your local store guys because where would we be without local advice and a chance to get off the farm or out of the house?? http://www.vicebite.com.au/products/vicebite-fencing-bracket

15.01.2022 Check out the new Vicebite website for easy purchasing and product updates! www.vicebite.com.au

15.01.2022 Interesting to note that a shortage in timber in NZ and some other countries meant that ditches were used instead of fences and sometimes plants were used to heighten them, which in the case of gorse created issues because of its invasiveness. http://envirohistorynz.com//an-environmental-history-of-f/

15.01.2022 Well it is getting close to fathers day so here's one for the dads out there! Made by Trigg Industries custom signs for the man cave or even that front fence can be done to order so inbox them through their facebook page. Rust effect or painted/powdercoated options on request or keep it raw and let the environment do the rest! Perfect for farm gates, stable signs, and available in timber, steel or acrylic, the options are really endless with a CNC Industrial Laser.

15.01.2022 I'm pretty sure we all know the "gripple" product, but have you seen this video, quite clever.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yEx2K5PbeI

14.01.2022 Just some of the country that the Vicebite fence brackets will be heading to so far! We will look forward to the pics of the fence projects they will be used on, so make sure you share your tips and tricks or check with us if you have any questions! Thanks for sharing guys and gals:)

12.01.2022 Fast Fence Fact: When working on boundary fencing remember that you may need to seek permission if native vegetation (NOT just trees) on public land adjacent is going to be removed as part of the project. Each state is different and you will need to clarify what you can and can't do - just to be on the safe side....of the fence! http://www.depi.vic.gov.au//consent-to-clear-native-vegeta

12.01.2022 Friday funny...have a great weekend!!

11.01.2022 What's happening over your fence? Keep it clean:) ha ha Here is a good page link for our broad acre friends to help share info between the regions. http://www.grdc.com.au//Over-the-Fen/Over-The-Fence-Videos

11.01.2022 If you have a great fence photo, don't hold back - it could be pretty, pretty funky, or just hilarious - maybe you want to share your latest project and share some pointers or ask for some help!

10.01.2022 Looking for a central place to get info on fencing?? Maybe this site can help you out! http://www.fencingonline.com.au/office/home-owners.html

10.01.2022 Here's another Aussie innovation that keeps in line with one of our recent topics of timber treatments and durability. What are your thoughts??

07.01.2022 Well I recently travelled to Speed in VIC for the Speed Field Days which is just down the road and ran into Kondinan Group who have a great Fencing Fundamentals guide which some may find very useful. It comes at a price but it covers everything from Choosing the right posts, to wire knots and various tools, techniques etc. plus they have a range of other topics which may be useful for people on the land. http://www.kondininbookstore.com.au/

05.01.2022 BlazeAid has become an essential community resource when it comes to disaster management. Well done to all of the volunteers who have assisted communities over the years!

05.01.2022 Its really time to support Australian made and owned! What products are you buying, have you checked where it comes from? We’d love to hear your opinions on this with farm products!

04.01.2022 When laser cutting multiple parts we can get some really interesting skeletons that would make ideal fence panels or ornamental screens, a little natural rust effect or powder coating and what a feature!!

04.01.2022 It's coming up to winter with lots of vineyards getting set to do repairs and maintenance, or redeveloping new varieties. This product can make a big job a little less tedious and speed up the process of getting those end assemblies sorted out. Available online or ask your local supplier if they stock it as they strongly promote rural business - the Vicebite team will be happy to assist with your enquiry. www.vicebite.com.au

04.01.2022 http://www.csiro.au//Food-and-Agricu/CCATreatedTimber.aspx

03.01.2022 Animals and machinery can easily nudge the stay post out of alignment, Vicebite fence brackets have dual teeth on both faces of the bracket so well tensioned wire will keep the bracket and the post aligned with no side slip possible. www.vicebite.com.au

03.01.2022 Here is a couple of examples of where stay height, and notching the timber post has resulted in failure of the end assembly. The second example proving costly because it is at harvest season and fruit has ended up on the ground and damaged, plus the time it takes to fix the problem. Timber posts have a grain that if you cut across it or too far into it, you not only open up untreated timber (if its treated) but create a weak point, which may be ok for the young vineyard but as the vines mature and start yielding is when it becomes a headache. Get it right the first time!!

03.01.2022 Well the buds are bursting in the vineyards around Oz at the moment, so all of the redevelopments or maintenance on your vineyards should be nearly completed and in particular tensioning of wires, and making sure end assemblies are stable and can hold up your precious cargo for the growing season! Vicebite fence brackets are a great little bracket for those broken end assemblies and can be a handy quick fix to make sure your stay posts don't budge this season. Check them out at www.vicebite.com.au.

01.01.2022 Fast Fence Fact: Did you know that timber treatments only treat the outer 10mm or so?? As soon as you cut, drill or split the timber you are opening it up to the elements??
