23.01.2022 Wow Wow Wow, what a great time we had this morning with graduation for our Katherine babyFAST families. There were lots of smiles and laughing while our families enjoy our 'bananas in pyjamas ' theme , presentation and our photo booth. A big congratulations to the Hurley and Jacky families who achieve 100% attendance during the program. All families received a certificate of participation that was proudly presented to them by 'Emily' representing Sandra Nelsons office. I wo...uld like to thank our supporters that have worked with us to provide the families of Katherine the babyFAST program. A big thank you to Sandra Nelson and staff for your ongoing support. We acknowledge the patience and commitment of JB taxis. JB a very big thank you from us all, you went above and beyond the call of duty each week and we can't thank you enough. Thomas from Katherine Woolworths. The friendly ladies from the Salvos store that have full-filled my requests of finding me sheets and craft items when asked. Thank you to Louise for making the yummy cupcakes as our graduation cake. Most of all a very big thank you to 'The Smith Family 'for your ongoing support of the babyFAST programs. Last but most important A big thank you to our fantastic families who made our program a success, we thank you all very very much for attending each week. 23.01.2022 Homebase Hope and Blue Eagle Muay Thai have teamed up to offer a sensory sensitive class for kids in Katherine. This class will be tailored to kids with autism .../ special needs. This group will be a smaller group environment and will benefit kids who find larger groups overwhelming. It will take advantage of routine and structure and focus on motor skills, attention and confidence. This class will be run by patient and caring instructors who conduct the sessions at a pace that matches your child’s learning. Where: Blue Eagle Muay Thai Katherine at the showgrounds When: Monday at 4.30pm for a 30 minute session, commencing start of 2018 Who: Kids aged 5-10 years with special needs If there is not enough interest -THIS CLASS WILL NOT GO AHEAD. Please contact Rhiannon at homebasehope.com.au to register interest - with the subject line MUAY THAI. Interest in the class must be registered before Monday 1st of January to secure your spot. Spaces are LIMITED - in order to provide a small group environment.

16.01.2022 A big thank you to our babyfast families that are joining us each week at St Pauls Anglican church hall. There's lots of excitement this week with graduation plans are under way for Friday the 1st December ! Watch this space as someone is coming down the stairs soon to join us to celebrate ? Our morning started with some craft followed by lots of great singing, some quiet buddy and group time for mums. Our little ones joined our great team to play some games and have morning... tea. Everyone enjoyed a nice lunch and then lots of excitement when the raffle was drawn. Congratulations to baby Ky'anna & La'shaye family. If you'd like to join us please come along Friday morning at 9.30 St Pauls Anglican Church hall ( Victoria Hwy) Katherine. 03.01.2022 Team Coordinator Baby FAST - Katherine (position vacant) Families and Schools Together (FAST) Casual Position 15-20 hours per week for 12 weeks with ongoing programs planned for 2018.... FAST (NT) is seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to coordinate the Katherine Baby FAST Team. If you are looking at returning to work or would like paid experience in the community sector to add to your resume or studies, this is the career opportunity for you! Full training is provided and support from experienced trainers. Training will commence beginning of February with the eight-week program starting 21st February April 2018. 02.01.2022 What a great morning we had on Friday. Lovely hand made hand scrub had all our mums asking for some to take home. I have a little surprise for them all this week. The kids enjoyed playing with our new play dough during floor play. We wish baby Alision a very happy first birthday this week and little Jean a happy second birthday. Everyone enjoyed a great lunch thank you to the Hurley family. Our raffle this week was won by the Jeans family ! If you’d like to join in our morning please contact Anne on 0408634385.
