24.01.2022 The U.I.M RD:6000 class Rule number 904 in the U.I.M Rule book has been officially accepted by the American Powerboat Association, inclusive of hull,engine and reinforce cockpit specifications which also makes the 6.0 litre Class to be the first displacement class to require compulsory reinforced cockpits in the USA,

23.01.2022 A great initiative for the Downunder Rescue team whom devote all their personal time and money into make the sport of powerboat racing a safer place to be. There are many of a driver whom have a lot to thank these people for, and if they have needed to rescue you, still donate, because no one thinks it is going to happen to them, but when it does, they will be there.

18.01.2022 Well, the Mike Stock owned K Boat piloted by Duff Daily came to Australia with one mission, to show the Aussies just how the Americans do it !! Mission accommpished finishing in 1st Place. A solid contender for a UIM World Championship is on the cards.

04.01.2022 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club (GCPBSC) wish to advise that we will not be conducting Lockyer Powerfest in 2016, due to insufficient w...ater supply at Lake Dyer. We hope to return to Lake Dyer in 2017 and will continue meetings biennially (every 2 years). The club is currently in negotiation to conduct an event on the Gold Coast, with details to be released soon. (Information will be released via our club facebook page - Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club). We sincerely thank Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LRVC) and their staff, ASRF (Australian Street Rod Federation), our many event sponsors, on and off water entertainment participants - static displays, car and boat racing participants, food vendors, GCPBSC members, volunteers and spectators who have supported our club's event for the past 5 years.
