25.01.2022 Visited one of my favourite places today VentyHintage to pick up a gorgeous display cupboard for the HQ. Miss Caroline has created a fabulous space full of wonderful vintage pieces in Henty. She is a lovely lady - welcoming and generous with her time - happy to share creative ideas for up cycled projects and helpful finding that perfect little treasure. ... VentyHintage is beginning to offer awesome workshops also - keep an eye out for Miss Carolines updates. Well worth a visit - trust me on this one! The Doodle Cooma Arms Hotel in Henty has reopened and is open for weekend lunches. So you can fill your car boots, trailers, motorcycle saddle bags and bellies too Hope youve all enjoyed a fabulous Sunday too.
24.01.2022 Happy Hump Day everyone Wet arse riding across to Weethalle. Though the rain stopped, the cross winds didnt. Sheeesh!!! No tuck-shop arms for me! ... Ill be strutting around in a singlet come Summer Hope youre all having a fabulous week :) x
24.01.2022 I had a pit stop yesterday on the way back from Weethalle in Barellan NSW. For a small village it has lots of interesting attractions! Birth place to our national gem Miss Evonne Goolagong - I grew up watching her playing tennis. Loved her grace and style on the court. ... Miss Evonne, a Wirajuri woman is one of Australias most successful tennis players. She won seven Grand Slam tournaments and was the first Indigenous Australian to achieve success in tennis on the world stage. A Big Tennis Racquet' has been erected in the Evonne Goolagong Park in honour of her achievements. According to an article in the Sydney Morning Herald in January 2020, Miss Evonne is finally getting the recognition she deserves and will soon be immortalised in a mini-series and a stage play, both of which are currently in production. The Commercial Hotel dominates the streetscape with its classic Australian rural pub architecture! The hotel sells Barellans community owned and brewed Golden Grain Beer. The lovely CWA Rest Room located in a leaf, green park was the first built in Australia in 1924. Beautiful building- much loved. Meetings are still held there first Friday of the month! Each October, the Barellan community host The Good Old Days Festival - unfortunately cancelled this year due to COVID - 19. Details of the event can be found at www.barellanclydesdales.com.au Unfortunately the museum was closed, but I believe its well worth a visit. There is always something of interest in the smallest of rural towns - I love seeking them out!! Hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday :) x
24.01.2022 Date day with Mr P. Lovely lunch at Little Rustic Pantry Stroll around Coolamon before chillaxin on the lounge. ... Lazy Friday - just what I needed. Hope youve all had a fabulous day too :) x
24.01.2022 Hey everyone Last year I had a blast attending MOTO FEST Wauchope. It was a fantastic weekend event in a wonderful motorcycle friendly community. The committee, an awesome bunch who made me feel so welcome - many becoming good friends. ... I had such a blast last year, I was going to attend this years festival, with biker friends - were going to make it an annual pilgrimage. But unfortunately due to the COVID 19 - Moto Fest 2020 has been cancelled. However a resourceful committee are determined the show must go on!!! They are bringing Moto Fest 2020 online so we can all attend. During the event programme, they will cross live to me at Fat Bob and the Blonde HQ for a chat. I encourage you to throw your support behind the Moto Fest Wauchope online event this weekend
23.01.2022 How do you like my new wheels! Just have to convince local farmer, Mr Hall, to sell it to me. I sent his daughter Miss Simone - my wingwoman, home with a cookie as a bribe. ... Fingers cross, it works
23.01.2022 Lovin a life behind bars today! Happy Monday

21.01.2022 Doing the coffee run for Miss Kirsty Kirstys cuts on Cowabbie hairdressing and I. The bleach and foil provided great entertainment. Reminiscence of My Favourite Martian
20.01.2022 Happy Hump Day everyone Celebrating a couple of milestones today My old boy - Fat Bob clicked over 170 000km on the ride to the HQ ... AND, we clicked over 1900 Facebook likes Fastest 100 likes we have ever received - in only a few weeks!!!! I want to thank each and everyone of you, for coming along on the ride, and, for your continued support - because of you all, this page continues to grow. Yall all freakin fabulous
19.01.2022 Had my first Nana H hugs with little Banks. He has my heart - such a beautiful little boy
19.01.2022 Hello from a happy Miss H. Been a much better day - everything is good again on the home front and I got my spark back today. Coffee date and some sweet indulgence with Mr P at the Little Rustic Pantry ... We were getting up to leave when Mr Rob pointed and waved me over to where he and his wife Miss Maria were sitting. Turns out Mr Rob follows me on Facebook and had been speaking just last night with some of his riding mates about visiting the HQ. A robust discussion between strangers began about motorcycling, travelling, the outback and small rural towns being the best destinations. We left as friends. Theyre the best conversations. Spring is in the air. Flowers by the roadside and in the paddocks - countryside is gorgeous. Warm day meant a T-shirt and leather jacket ride. Fat Bob was the sweetest smelling bike on the road - saddlebags laden with a new batch of soaps from Scented Sense Not as sweet smelling but just as colourful new doggie treats were waiting for me on arrival from Mr Andrew Farmhouse Pet Treats Arent they fabulous- makes me wanna adopt a dog Its a little like Christmas when stock arrives Especially with my new HQ T-shirts just printed by Miss Fiona from Fusion Teeshirts along with a red enamel mug The only hiccup to my day was when a local woman, determined to show off her parking prowess cutting in then reversing up a little close to my boy - Fat Bob. Considering there was a runway length of parking space out in front it was unnecessary! There was attitude when I past comment. Seems Im still not everyones cup of tea out here. Thats ok. Id rather be someones shot of tequila and let them suck on their lemons To finish on a positive note - I received a beautiful card from Miss Hillary via snail mail as she calls it. Such a lovely and thoughtful thing to do. We communicate often on this page - but there is something extra special about receiving a hand written card in the post. Thank you so much Miss Hillary- appreciate muchly Hope youve all had a fabulous day too x
18.01.2022 My last visitors to the HQ today were Mr Rhys and his Dad, Mr Collin, both from Griffith. Their pair of retro orange Enfields caught my eye as they parked up. Mr Rhys bought his bike first. ... However, while he was away for work, his Dad would borrow it. It got to the stage Mr Collin didnt want to give it back. So Mr Rhys bought his Dad his own Enfield - what an awesome son. Enjoyed watching these two spend father and son time at the HQ, before riding off together. :)
18.01.2022 I am officially a domestic goddess, with my very own fabulous apron - a beautiful gift from Miss Melita, created by the very talented Miss Caz from Peggy's Pantry Despite the dreadful weather the Western Wheelers Car Club of West Wyalong made the road trip out to Weethalle for a pit stop at Fat Bob and the Blonde HQ Let me tell you, thank goodness Miss Melita and Mr Darren were here visiting with me because there were certainly more than 10 lovely petrol heads as previo...usly booked. Mr Darren took control of the toasted sandwiches - one word; Legend. Miss Melita, in her own domestic goddess apron, and I covered service and drinks. What a fantastic bunch of wheels enthusiasts - everyone so friendly, fun and patience. Thank you all for your support - appreciated muchly The space works a treat - people gathered in the different zones to talk, share stories and just enjoy each others company. To say my Saturday has been awesome is an understatement. With each day I see a dream becoming a reality. Makes me smile to see others enjoy the HQ. To share it with good friends Miss Melita and Mr Darren this weekend made it even better. Thanks guys for everything - you rock Hope youve all had a super Saturday also xox
18.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope youve had a great a Tuesday I am placing an order with Miss Fiona at Fusion Teeshirts for HQs new T-shirt design. Colours are black, grey marle and white. Mens and womens. ... The Ladies shirts range up to a Women's size 26. Sizes are pretty spot on. Full mens range available too. T-shirts are $39.95 plus $8.95 postage. If you would like to preorder one could you inbox me please your size and colour preference. Thank you x
15.01.2022 Hey everyone, didnt realise it was so late! Sitting by the fire in the HQ tonight - chickened out from a late cold ride home. Must be getting soft -shhhhhh dont tell anyone Another lovely day meeting visitors. I spent most of the time sitting down chatting with them all - after I served them refreshments of course ... As I always like to say everyone has a story- and I enjoyed listening to Miss Desney and Mr Jeff - an interstate truck driver who clearly adores his wife, a clever and creative business woman of many years. Despite recent health issues, Miss Desney epitomises what a positive attitude can do. They enjoy short road trips away together nowadays. I chuckled when Miss Desney was explaining how she would say I have a new idea, Mr Jeff would respond, I have a headache Apparently he is often dragged into her projects. Remind you of anyone you know..............My poor Mr P Miss Kerry and Miss Michelle - young enthusiast Sydney school teachers enjoying rural teaching experiences in small country schools. They love getting to know each of their students well - more time to spent and work with them in the smaller class sizes in rural schools. They were road tripping today in search of Canola crops - enjoying the yellow countryside. Miss Rosemary and Mr Gordon - who left the big smoke, Sydney, years ago to run a cafe / restaurant in the small village of Trunkey Creek NSW. Retired now they also enjoy caravanning to regional destinations. They parked up at Goolgowi, 90km down the road to visit the Silo Art, only to realise they went to the wrong town!!! Hence their road trip to Weethalle today lol Ohhhh and Mr Gordon loves growing hydroponic tomatoes! Another great day - feeling very blessed. Hope youve all had a fabulous Sunday too x
14.01.2022 Hey everyone Due to a family situation with my mum the HQ will be closed this Thursday 17 and Friday 18 September! I apologise in advance for any inconvenience.... The HQ will be open on Saturday and Sunday 9.00 - 10.00 am.
12.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope youve all had a fabulous Friday. Has been a great day for me - busy with customers, the little HQ is really taking off, almost too much for a one woman show!! Especially when shes on her L Plates. Really enjoyed catching up with friends - fellow biker chicks Miss Denise, Miss Margaret and Miss Janine who visited from Wagga.... Shortly after the ladies left Miss Melita and Mr Darren sprung a huge surprise with a weekend visit planned. Bless Miss Melita, no sooner had she arrived, she donned an apron and started washing dishes.....and then, made the best pizzas for dinner. Afterward, there was cake - late celebration for her recent birthday Very grateful for the supportive women I have in my world x
12.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to all you fabulous dads out there. Hope you enjoy your day and get spoilt muchly. To my dear dad, Mr Bob - thanks for everything. In my eyes, you are a legend. I have the fondest memories of being carried up on your shoulders as a little girl. You were and are my world. ... Thanks for fixing stuff. Making stuff. And, for teaching me the values of hard work, integrity and honesty! Ohhhh......and for the swear words that have come in handy over the years Love ya Dad xox
11.01.2022 I have just had some lovely visitors at the HQ from Kurrajong in West Wyalong. Terrific bunch - patience as well- they caught me completely unaware lol All of them loved Fat Bob - particularly Miss Ash. ... While everyone enjoyed morning tea Miss Ash, sat quietly by herself. Unbeknownst to me she was sketching a drawing of Fat Bob - leaving it on the counter for me to find. Now I dont know about any of you, but I cant draw a motorcycle to save myself. Ive made several attempts to capture Fat Bob - with disastrous results. Many of you are probably unaware that Kurrajong provides services for people living with disabilities. I enjoyed many years working for them in Wagga Wagga - resigning only to travel around Australia. My fabulous boss at the time, Miss Caz once told staff a story about how her young daughter referred to our clients as people with possibilities. Never have I heard a truer statement! Miss Ash sketched Fat Bob in about 10 mins. Her art folder is filled with beautiful and colourful drawings worthy of being hung in any art exhibition. A gifted artist. And I, once again, have been left feeling very grateful for receiving another piece of art work, by another young lady with wonderful possibilities x
09.01.2022 Church - twilight service
09.01.2022 Hey everyone - hope youve had a fabulous start to the week. I have spent the day on the lounge - resting up. Had the most adorable visitor yesterday at the HQ - Little Big Mumma. Be still my bleating heart! ... Got so caught up with the kid that I forgot to take a photo of Miss Taylah and Co - 4 young women from Tullibigeal and Lake Cargelligo who used the HQ as their hangout zone for awhile. They snuck a photo of me - looking like a waitress refilling coffee in an American Diner lol Also farewelled Miss Melita and Mr Darren - totally enjoyed their company and help over the weekend. I had a late departure from the HQ yesterday - boy was it a cold ride. Absolutely freakin freezin I had a pit stop in Ardlethan to put on a couple more layers - pushing the seams on my leather jacket to the extremes! A car past by before doing a U- turn. Mr Michael pulled up - asking if I was ok and heading to Weethalle! HUH! Perplexed I asked how he knew I was from travelling to/from Weethalle? My partner, Miss Debra, follows you on Facebook, I recognised Fat Bob he responded lol We chatted for awhile - as you do. Turns out Mr Michael rides too, as does his Dad. They enjoy riding together which I think is so cool. I thanked Mr Michael for coming back to make sure I was ok - always appreciate it when someone does. Was bloody happy to park Fat Bob up and get inside where Mr P had the heater blasting and a hot beef stew served up - which I enjoyed, after the fingers thawed out lol Wouldnt change a thing x
09.01.2022 Fat Bob bathed and tucked up for the night!
08.01.2022 Happy Hump Day x
07.01.2022 Hellllooooo everyone Look what my dear Dad has made for the HQ. A Motorcycle Rack for visiting bikers to hang helmets, gloves and jackets. ... I went to him a few months ago with a rough idea and he has been designing and building prototypes ever since. And, I dont know about you all, but I think he nailed the final product! He is an absolute legend - 84 years young and still going strong. God love him. Id been lost without him. There is nothing he cant do. I think Dad felt rather chuffed with the final product and its installation. So he should - its brilliant. And, as usual, Mum was here to, offering support as she has done over the years. The dynamic duo!!! I captured them playing and bantering like a pair of kids as they often do. Thank you Dad - youre the best. The HQ is complete now as a motorcycle friendly pit stop. Feeling very happy and totally blessed! :) x
07.01.2022 Saturday, thats a wrap! Been a lot fun at the HQ today - welcoming road trippers from West Wyalong, Tullibigeal and Ardlethan. Really appreciated all the support ... Best part - visitors feeling comfortable to just chillax and enjoy the space! Hope youve all had a fabulous Saturday too x
06.01.2022 Good morning everyone The HQ will stay closed now until Friday 25 September. It has been an emotional and at times stressful roller coaster ride in my personal life these past few days. ... I need to be around my family now. Celebrate the wonderful arrival of little Banks Harry Ward, with proud parents Mr Guy and Miss Tessa. Spent time with my dear mum and dad and ensure home care support services are in place. My baby girl, Miss Shani is coming from Canberra on Monday for a visit. I wish to spend some quality time with Mr P - I have barely seen him. And, to be honest. I need a little time out for me too - for some self care! I hope everyone can understand my need to prioritise at the moment. I love my HQ space and look forward to swing open those red doors again next week - itll kinda be my respite lol Hope you all have a fabulous Friday x
06.01.2022 Hello everyone You know what Im loving most about the HQ - the people I meet. Takes me back to my road tripping around Australia. ... The people I met and the friends I made along the way. I was blessed with conversations, laughter, and so much kindness, support, encouragement from so, so many. I smile when I think of them all because they made my trip beyond special. This time, Fat Bob and I are parked up, in the HQ, bringing travellers to us - with the same outcomes I might add. Meeting the nicest people and enjoying their conversations and laughter. Miss Trish, Miss Bev and Mr Ted set the tone first thing this morning. The two sisters were a delight- great stories tellers. The pair could easily start a comedy act - very entertaining ladies Poor Mr Ted barely got a word in. But, he did clear their table of dishes and placed them on the front counter for me. How sweet and thoughtful. Miss Simone, originally from Batemans Bay is a teacher at Ungarie School - she is the 4th young lady I have met in recent weeks who has relocated to teach at small schools scattered around the region. She is enjoying her rural experience, with no plans to move on soon. Like me, loves the red dirt out here. While her friend Mr Tim, from Sydney, hadnt travelled as far west experiencing rural villages like Ungarie and Weethalle, he does appreciate and enjoy regional travel and townships through his work as a Project Manager ( he was very modest about himself but I sensed he was a very smart and successful young man working on major corporate projects). His work has taken him as far afield as Geraldton, Busselton and Bunburry in WA - all places I visited and enjoyed too. I noticed him looking over the WA map hanging up - he was surprised when I commented it was an old souvenir table cloth. Others came and went through the day. It wasnt a busy day by any means. But I kinda liked the slower pace and the opportunity to participate in one of my favourite pastimes - havachat Hope youve all enjoyed your Saturday too x
06.01.2022 I am soooooo in love Delighted to announce the safe arrival of; Banks Harry Ward ... Coming in at 3.4kg or 7.1pound and 49cm Our little man is one day old now. I know Im going to sound bias, but he is just gorgeous!!! Not quite the entrance we were hoping for but he is healthy and Miss Tessa is recovering well. He may be small, but little Banks has brought so much joy to our family. Absolutely bursting to have my first Nana H cuddles
06.01.2022 Thoroughly enjoyed my roadtrip to Grenfell - despite rain all the way. Nice to be out and about on Fat Bob with Mr T in tow - just like the good old days. My mission today - to meet up with Miss Sheena from Illa Langa Farm so as to restock her fabulous and delicious range of jams, chutneys, sauces and relishes (cannot keep them on the shelf) with a few Christmas Hampers through in too. ... Lovely to see her again. And, really appreciated her driving from Bathurst, to meet me half way. Dry run back across to West Wyalong, before the heavens well and truly opened up. Had just taken the wet weather pants off There was a struggle - getting them on again lol Sunshine back to Weethalle- of course, because I had the wet weathers on, didn’t I Parked under the HQ’s verandah just before another storm front arrived! Not a bad way to start the week Hope you all had a great Monday too x
04.01.2022 The Blonde in for a maintenance at Kirstys cuts on Cowabbie hairdressing. Thanks Miss Kirstys for the fabulous tone up. Feeling very glamorous :) x
03.01.2022 Hey everyone Quiet day at the HQ. Opportunity to close a little early. I hung up the apron, pulled on the leather jacket and enjoyed a quick scoot along country roads to Hotel Kikoira! ... What a fabulous old pub - perfect backdrop for a photo shoot. Pleased to find out the old place has been bought. A young bloke is going to restore the former hotel as his residence. Relieved its going to be saved! Originally The Wyalong Hotel, it was was delicenced in the early 1930's, dismantled and rebuilt in Kikiora, eighty seven kilometres away. Not much to Kikiora nowadays. Though the silos tower over the village. Between 1939 and 1970 the village was home to one of Australias largest tin deposits - I googled that. Today, the district mainly produces wheat and wool. I googled that too. The countryside is just beautiful. Green with crops and foliage, punctuated with yellow blooms of Wattle. Perfect way to end my Saturday. Hope youve all had a fabulous one too x
03.01.2022 Saturday Sunshine Beautiful day in Weethalle- lots of people out & about enjoying the rays. So to, the motorcycles ... Visitors to the HQ from Ulysses Club Inc MIA Branch and Mr Vince and Co from Young. The Ulysses ladies and gents enjoyed a stroll around town, visiting the Whistle Stop, Museum and Mr Johns secondhand shop down the road - as did the Young crew. I think Ive upgraded from L plates to Red Ps lol but still got a few things wrong today. But, everyone was happy to go with the flow - thank you all. Appreciate all your support and understanding muchly. Thanks Mr P for stepping in to lend a hand - think it was an excuse for him to enjoy taking his Fat Boy for a run. There was a little ride envy on my part. My turn tomorrow Hope youve all had a fabulous Saturday too :) x
03.01.2022 Coming to you from a public toilet in West Wyalong
03.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone. Yesterday this lovely Weethalle young lady, Miss Chloe came into the HQ with a gift for me. A framed drawing of my logo she drew ... I was impressed with another sketch Miss Chloe had shown me on Thursday afternoon. According to her Mum, Miss Simone, Miss Chloe went home staying up late to complete this one for me. Very touched by her gesture. Talented artist in the making. Miss Chloes framed artwork sits proudly on my desk
02.01.2022 Hey everyone Apology for MIA! Have had a family matter to focus on. And, a pain flare Im trying to get under control. While everything is fine, I wont be opening the HQ this Thursday. But the red doors will be open on Friday ... In the meantime meet Mr John. He runs the fabulous secondhand store in Weethalle. Ive found a few treasures in there. Mr John opened his shop about four years ago when he wanted something to do after retirement. Over the years Mr John owned the Motel and the Weethalle Roadhouse, now known as the Road Kill Grillz. His mate Mr Bernie helps him set up and pack up each Thursday - Sunday. It was the two of them that saved my arse when I had no fuel a month or so ago lol We are also collaborating - if you visit the HQ youll receive a discount from Mr John when you give him my business card Hope everything is wonderful in your worlds x
