23.01.2022 I think I hss ave an addiction. A great day spent up at Cow Bay FNQ with George and Josette. Helped George to drop a Black wattle. After telling him I had no more storage room for wood. I left with a Ute load and to top it off a beautiful Burl from acCooktown Mahogany. I might need therapy yeah nah I don’t think so either.

21.01.2022 Today we were at the Tanks Markets. Rained on and off during the day. A reasonable turnout for such a day. Had fun talking to people about all things Woodturning.
20.01.2022 Six months ago I took on a commission to turn two posts to be incorporated into a kitchen bench. The client was from interstate and could find no one willing to help. When complete sent them off and heard nothing until yesterday when I received a text including pictures of the completed kitchen. I think the kitchen looks great and the turned pieces fit in well.

15.01.2022 Well a busy weekend in the shed. Started on Saturday with milling camphor laurel with Dale Snail then onto making pepper grinders with Scott. Today a slower pace finishing off a couple of bowls Annette turning some bolt action pens and then knocking out a final pepper grinder to finish off.

11.01.2022 A fantastic day at the last market for the year. Bumper crowd weather was kind warm but a gentle breeze. Here’s me talking all things wood with my mate Lyle from Wondecla Wood Works.

04.01.2022 Well seems like an age since I’ve been in the shed with one thing and another. Finally finished another acacia bowl with coloured resin inlay. Unfortunately couldn’t get rid of all of hidden air bubbles but it came up well and will make a nice fruit bowl. Also prepped a new wand blank using resin with a wood core. Stand by for the completed wands.
