24.01.2022 I send this to at least 15 people everyday...

17.01.2022 Want to be a better saver? Systemise it. Put money away automatically and make it hard to get access to it. Want to have a better business? Systemise it. ... McDonalds is a multi - billion dollar company run by high school students because of their systems. Want to have a better fat loss plan? Systemise it. Take as much conscious thought out of the plan as possible. - Always binge on junk food at night? Don’t have the junk food around... - Fill your cupboards with the food you are trying to eat... - Make a plan/ write down what you will eat the majority of the time... - Have your meals at similar times each day.. - Rotate around similar meals that you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner (take the choice and decision fatigue out of the plan).. - Don’t have time to go shopping? Do an automatic grocery delivery service each week... - No time to cook? Use a meal prep service... - Always go over your calories? Pre- track your meals for the day so you know what you're eating... - Find it hard to go to the gym? Book in with your trainer/ Go at the same time each day etc... Notice the things that feel hard, the things that feel like there must be a better way, and see if you can make a system that improves this. Systems > Willpower

12.01.2022 It is common to scroll through social media and see people posting cringey quotes relating to ’no excuses’ etc. Ironically most people don’t know they are making excuses in the first place or understand why we do it. You see we may hold the belief that we are a "motivated and driven individual that wants to lose weight.... Now when you are about to engage in a behaviour that is not aligned with your fat loss goals, you now have an internal problem. This is referred to as a cognitive dissonance, so to get away from this uncomfortable tension between who we believe we are and how we are behaving we will justify (make an excuse) about our behaviour For example "It’s the weekend, I can eat this/ I don't need to train" "I deserve this cake, I trained hard earlier" "I had a good week this week, so I can eat X" "I can’t train before work - I’m not a morning person" "It’s a bit late to train today - I best skip it" Sound familiar? Of course it does! Here's what you need to try and do: 1. Begin to challenge your beliefs and excuses. Ask yourself to argue against your belief,. Wheres your evidence for believing that? 2. Accept biased thinking is apart of being a human and if we are not aware of it it can lead us to a lot of negative consequences in life (marketers absolutely feed off our bias and flaws). 3. Lastly, as you work at challenging your beliefs, begin to decrease the importance of how your beliefs affect your fat loss behaviours. Stop letting your beliefs about your situations get in the way of carrying out these habits. So whether you feel like doing it or not you have to absolutely carry out these habits. Again think of all the times you don’t feel like going to work but still go - this needs to be the same mindset

11.01.2022 That motivational quote on instagram helped me lose fat That motivational quote helped me food prep my meals. That motivational quote helped me go to the gym before work.... That motivational quote helped me be consistent. said nobody ever - The time you spend reading motivational quotes trying to get more motivated should be used .creating an environment that will help you stay consistent. .focusing on the strategy to become successful (whatever that means to you) focusing on the roadblocks towards your goal and what has slipped you up in the past and remembering you need to carry our your nonnegotiable habits whether you feel like it or not. - It’s so ironic/ hilarious how its usually some multilevel marketer selling ketones or some useless influencer posting motivational quotes talking about success. while actual successful people (aka those Irish boys above) are too busy being consistent than to post such dribble each day

09.01.2022 What to do when you feel like giving up...

07.01.2022 A nutrition plan done consistently good always beats one done occasionally perfect. Forget the idea of perfect when it comes to nutrition. Forget perfectionist statements sayings such as... I am going to get back on the bandwagon I will start again on Monday I am going to cut out sugar, carbs etc I messed up so f*$k it, I am going to binge out now I am on or off my diet I must avoid failure Instead focus on having a good nutrition plan which encompasses Eating a high protein diet the majority of the time. Accounting for a small percentage of your calories from foods or drinks you enjoy. Remembering one or two days of overeating won’t make you fat. Aiming to eat as much vegetables and whole foods as possible.. Not cutting foods out or restricting yourself mentally (because it almost always backfires in you binging out on said food)... Aiming to repeat this process for as long as possible. - You could say the perfect plan is the one that allows you to stick to it for a long period of time versus one that may be more optimal on paper
