19.01.2022 After 9 glorious years at @fatpanda_08 , we bid the happiest of farewells to chef @kimthoag Only 1 of 2 females working in a male dominant kitchen, it was inspiring to see a woman firmly plant her position in such a high pressure environment . Kim came to us with an already impressive skill set and leaves us with so much more. Like with any relationship, we’ve had our ups and downs but best of all, we’ve shared GROWTH! we’ve watched each other’s businesses go from strength to... strength and we are like proud parents to see her #sidehustle business flourish.... flourish to the point where she is too busy for us (Remember those late night talks about social media ?? ) For those that don’t know, chef Kim proudly owns and runs @grazingbykim . A business she runs with her 8 yr old daughter. Chef Kim handles all the logistics and catering side of things and her daughter, Liahna, does some of the admin and marketing material #truestory (she designed their brochure and business card) Her work is impeccable, you already know this from what she delivers at FP.... but now you can continue to support chef Kim through her new #mainhustle So whilst we say goodbye to the #loveletters in mayonnaise, you can still get a dose of @kimthoag by supporting her new venture , @grazingbykim We have new and exciting things planned for @fatpanda_08 ... covid regulations still make it hard for a small venue of our size to cater for the masses but we are working towards a new #fp experience for you guys! There are many reasons why we are not taking bookings but the biggest reason is that there are just too many no-shows Especially now that seating numbers are limited, it really hurts us when people simply don’t show up. We tried implementing a deposit system and we tried confirming with a text and even a phone call on the day of.... at the end of the day, it’s something that’s simply out of our co...ntrol.
