25.01.2022 MEET THE BAGELS! This is "Wee George", named after Heidis dad, George Wares. Born in Grantown on Spey in Scotland, George immigrated to Australia and he and his dog Hamish became icons of South Terrace, Fremantle. Whilst he may have been wee in stature his personality and character was large and full of flavour just like this mushroom bagel.

16.01.2022 MEET THE BAGELS! This is The Walwa, named after a tiny town on the Victorian side of the mighty Murray River. In 2017 we spent 6 months travelling around Australia, 5 days of it in Walwa, camping smack bang in the middle of a cold, wet Victorian winter. When we got home we were asked so what was your favourite place? We had so many favourite places for so many different reasons, Australia is so diverse- there is no favourite. And so we agreed to answer Walwa, because it summed up everything memorable about our trip, and its also a real mouthful- just like this bagel.

03.01.2022 MEET THE BAGELS! This is Mrs. Robran. Mrs. Robran and her 3 daughters lived up (what seemed like then) the loooong country road from me and my 2 sisters where we grew up in Wisconsin. The Robrans ran a fresh vegetable market and the smell of dill dominated. It was a standing joke amongst us that Mrs. Robran was the Dill lady and she drove the Dill-mobile. In fact, she was a bit of a dill herself (Im sure she wont mind me saying!). This smoked salmon bagel is served with a lovely dill cream cheese spread- dill reminds me of the Robrans and the fun memories we share.
