22.01.2022 It is tough to hear about all the damage in New Zealand with the recent earthquake. It is interesting to see some of the images of surface ruptures. Keeps me thinking about how I pick faults in the subsurface

21.01.2022 First proper day in the field with the folks from UNSW looking at faults in the Illawarra. Looks like I am going to have fun making a 3D model of Picton.

12.01.2022 Just finishing some work on how faults leak. This Gigapan from Miri Sarawak fantastically illustrates how fault rock radically changes in thickness over short distances. Look at the Gigpan where you can zoom in to see many of the small-scale features.
