25.01.2022 Netball Victoria is delighted with the Victorian State Government announcement today of a road map for the return of community sport in Victoria. We have seen ...netballers return to train with cautious excitement, and know the delight that a return to competition will bring our community. We will take the time to process the detail in these announcements and provide further advice as soon as we can.

22.01.2022 The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry (Robert Burns). With the re-instatement of Stay-at-Home restrictions imposed on Fawkner and other suburbs, TRAINING FROM JULY 13TH HAS BEEN POSTPONED. As outlined on the DHHS website, community sport training and competition cannot occur within a restricted postcode. If you live in an impacted area you cannot participate in community sport elsewhere.... This means that Fawkner will NOT be able to commence junior competition at Darebin until such time that Government restrictions are eased. 21.01.2022 Netball Victoria echoes the Premiers disappointment that a necessary step has had to be taken to lockdown 36 Melbourne suburbs to help curb a second wave out...break of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the implications this will mean for so many members of our netball community, it is clear that this is a necessary step for the health and safety of not only the people residing in these suburbs, but the wider Victorian community. 19.01.2022 So disappointed to wake up this morning and read that this has occurred to our neighbours, Northern Saints Football Club across the oval. Great people, all volunteers, work tirelessly to offer sport & other opportunities to the community and keep their facilities clean for their members and the wider community. It doesnt take much to show some respect to these GREAT people, caretakers of the Reserve, by respecting property, putting rubbish where it belongs and showing some... pride in what local sporting & other clubs provide for the community. Continued displays of vandalism & abuse will just be a turn-off for such volunteers who work hard to make the reserve a wonderful place for everyone in the community. They will give up and they will leave. What will be left for the community then? It is EVERYONEs responsibility to look after our wonderful Reserve and facilities. If you know anything about this, contact Fawkner Police. If you see anything untoward occurring at the Reserve, contact Fawkner Police. 02.01.2022 With Melb in lockdown again, we just want to send out a great big hello to everyone and make sure youre all ok. I know that everyone is missing netball, missing their teammates, missing those early morning or late night game starts ( maybe NOT!) and missing the social aspect of it all. Hopefully the imposed lockdown will drive down the number of cases out in the community and well be up and running again soon. In the meantime, keep fit and active, practice at home, stay in touch with your coach and teammates and most importantly stay safe.
