22.01.2022 Sorry folks, but you CAN still be legally married on your planned day, and have a "commitment ceremony" of your original ceremony minus the legal bits, and reception later, if you have only the 5 people at your legal marriage now in these tough times. Staying safe is the important bit

22.01.2022 I've seen lots of lovely weddings with no bridesmaids or attendants- the witnesses do a reading, bring the rings, sign the certificates, but just the couple stand at front- whatever works, but less costs, less possible "offending" those not in bridal party, if no-one is!

07.01.2022 I am about to finally build a website, and was drafting a blog about some myths and facts, when I came across this, interesting- I'll add more next time!

06.01.2022 At the beautiful Scarlett's Naming Day, her Godparents, siblings and parents added coloured sands to a lovely container, with wishes associated with each person's sand and related to the colour- it was amazing! The left-over sand was then topped up by anyone else later, and meant all these good wishes and promises could never be separated- what a lucky and loved little girl she is! Thanks folks or having me.

02.01.2022 Celebrants are required by law, to give you information from the Government-the "Happily Ever Before and After" document, and information about where to receive relationship education- surprisingly, many couples say they don't need it, but it IS important! We must also say specific words about marriage which includes that it is "......voluntarily entered into for LIFE......"- so what's wrong with a little extra education before the day!?
