25.01.2022 Followers, I have received samples for kits, but many fittings are wrong. Sorting this out now. Will get OFA in production and launch FBD OFA Kit No 1 ASAP. This kit will contain the FBD OFA and a large oil filter, so that at least those interested can try the OFA ahead of deciding on filter remote and oil cooler options. I have a 19 row oil cooler which should be adequate. All other components are good concept, just want to get the correct fittings and tools to reduce uneccessary parts, expense to y'all and opportunities for leaks. Again my sincere apologies for the delays. PS FBD OFA Kit No1 is going to sell direct to you for around $200.

23.01.2022 As promised, additional kits now available in FBD Mods Store. OFA Kit No.3 is for those who want to install a cooler and remote oil filter first off. All components are available separately, however discounts are applied to the kits for your benefit. Please note the LF3313 Oil Filter is for installation suggestion, no oil filter supplied with this kit, the LF3313 Oil Filter is supplied with OFA Kit No. 1. 23.01.2022 Followers, this is a brief storyboard on the installation of OFA Kit No. 3. Please note the straight hose end fittings on the Remote Thermostatic Oil Filter Mount are not to be supplied, these are to be replaced with 90 degree fittings. Also please note all the hoses associated with the CBOS will also be removed, leaving the engine bay much tidier, when I have done with testing outfall from the CBOS. Let me know what y'all think. Tomorrow I will install the OFA Kit No.2.

22.01.2022 Followers, I know my apologies are getting lame. I have had an assurance from my manufacturer that the first batch of FBD Oil Filter Adapters will be finished on 10th December 2018 (just so there's no confusion). all accessories will be ready co-incidentally and shipped immediately. I think a couple of weeks for me to sort into kits etc and I will post the goodies in my store here in FB and also will start a e-Bay store.

22.01.2022 Followers, I have been procuring some replacement items for the OFA and associated kits. I found the 3/4-16 UNF Filter nipples provided with some of the components were not of the required quality. Fortunately, none of the faulty items have gone out with kits as I have supplied retail sourced replacements. I now have a stock of these items, and will be exchanging these in the kits prior to dispatch. Nothing for y'all to do and at no cost to my loyal followers. Just want to en...sure the end product is the best it can be for you and your vehicles. Don't forget, the FBD OFA fits all ZD30 variants in both Patrol and Navara, and all the accessories have a single common thread, 3/4-16 UNF, so that you will not have any trouble configuring the kits in your vehicle in any way you wish. By the way, my 2011 Patrol, ZD30 CRD, has been running a variety of the components over the past several years, and everything is working well. Of particular note, during last summer, 2018/19, Perth was extremely hot and I observed the engine oil cooling circuit: OFA, Thermostatic oil cooler sandwich plate , hoses and oil cooler, reduced the oil temperature to 75 degrees C even when the ambient temperature in traffic was in excess of 40 degrees C.

22.01.2022 Followers, I have supplied an OFA and Kit No.5 to the owner of a NISSAN ELGRAND E50. Not a vehicle which I have seen here in Australia, but is popular in Asia: Tell your friends to be aware that NISSAN has supplied the ZD30 engine to many of its vehicles, and that the oil filter, cooler and relocation kits will fit on any vehicle. These are particularly useful on petrol vehicles in this hot weather.

21.01.2022 Followers, I am receiving many versions of the same questions. Please find below a range of responses to common questions, just like FAQ: 1. Pricing: $215 including spanner, oil filter and P&P, 2. Yes the accessories are on the way, this will provide for: A. Remote mounting the oil filter, B. Installing an oil cooler,... C. Install instruments. 3. The supplied filters are Cummins 3313 , any spin-on filter with 3/4-16 UNF thread will fit, Z9 is an ideal replacement. 4. Yes the oil filter is still in a difficult position to change, however the OFA reduces the difficulty considerably, and provides for a larger oil filter than the OEM cartridge. See more

21.01.2022 Well followers, as the worm turns, and is slower than the second coming..... Finally I have received the OFA Accessories (Uproarious cheers from the bleachers). The No.1 Kit (OFA, "C" spanner and oil filter are already available, I will now add the other kits to FBD Mods FB store so y'all can get first look. I have also assembled a simplified Kit: No. 6 Special which provides an OFA plus remote mounting and oil cooler, with none of the redundant fittings and items which are n...ot required if this is your preferred installation from the start. 18.01.2022 Subsequent to installation of the pre-production model, i have made a short video to show the Test Vehicle running with OFA and Spin-on filter installed.

18.01.2022 Here is the process for removing the OEM Oil Filter Cartridge and Installing the FBD OFA and LF3313 aftermarket spin-on oil filter. 1. Install the spin-on filter onto the OFA filter nipple hand tight, then 2. During first installation, secure the OFA and Spin-on filter fully using the filter wrench, and 3. During subsequent filter changes the filter should separate from the OFA. If it does not, there is sufficient room inboard of the bodywork to remove both items together. Subsequently, separate the OFA and used filter.

17.01.2022 Followers, I have been distracted by the current pandemic, however have now received samples of a new product which may interest the Roverphiles amongst you and your friends. I have had an exhaust manifold fabricated for the Land Rover TD5 engine. This has been fabricated in carbon steel, the best material for tubular manifolds, and hand finished internally to improve gas flow. The manifold has an EGR port, as many jurisdictions require this facility to be intact. Finally the manifold is ceramic coated to maintain exhaust gas temperature and velocity which will improve turbo spool up while dramatically reducing under bonnet heat.

16.01.2022 Followers, I have ordered the OFA and will launch the OFA kit No.1 as soon as the parts arrive. I have installed the OFA on my Test Vehicle. The "C" spanner is an abject failure, so I will design a new tool. Installation requires no tool except a common strap spanner (oil filter spanner)

16.01.2022 Followers, I am experiencing considerable difficulty with the suppliers of the OFA accessories. There is a further, albeit short delay for delivery. 11.01.2022 FBD followers, have finally got the avcessories production under control. I have been promised delivery to transport company " next week" I am sure they mean this month / this year !!!! As soon as this happens I will post ETA but should only be a couple of weeks before the goodies are ready for the FBD Mods Shop !!!
